An email I received this morning got me to thinking about the email that people forward to friends and family. This email was a forward, but it wasn't the content of the message that got me thinking. It was the closing line.

It read: "When forwarding, please keep this letter clean by deleting all forwarding information from the subject line and from the top of the letter. > In God I Trust!"

Does having a lot of money guarantee one a stress-free life? If you believe the marketing emails and web pages that proliferate online, it would appear to be the case. At least that is what people all over are testifying. But, is finance freedom equal to stress free living? I really have to wonder.

Is it me, or is there a bunch of baiting going on in the advertising world? What I mean by that is the 'Get It Free' pitch that leads to paying a ridiculous amount for the shipping of this Free Thing.

A while back Google came out with their little thing called Auto Link, where they could insert links to other web sites within the text of your site, without your knowledge or permission. I wrote about that one: 'Google's AutoLink Stinks'

Well now they've come up with another invasive addition to their tool bar, called Sidewiki. I read about it this morning in the Icop Business Trade Journal.

I've spent the last ten years earning a living wirting for others, but as of this last year, my financial contributions to my family have not been what they once were. Therefore, it is time to get a real job.

Are you one who gets a bill, looks at the balance due and writes a check, or do you read through your itemized statement? If you are one who doesn't read your statements, perhaps you should start.

Every day I open my mailbox to discover that I have at least 20 new followers on Twitter. While that may seem very flattering, it also seems a bit unrealistic, especially in light of the new software that is being touted all over the Internet, to help a person get followers. But must you follow everyone that is following you? I don't think so.
