The Strangest Secret

The Strangest Secret

Earl Nightingale

"The Strangest Secret has sold over a million copies and is the only gold record ever achieved for the spoken word. Its message is simple, yet powerful . You become what you think about . and it became the basis for the Nightingale-Conant Corporation. Many thousands of people have attributed this recording with turning their lives around and helping them make their fortunes in the world." ~ Mark Victor-Hansen

I have listened to this recording many times and it always has a positive affect on me. I would like to share Mr. Nightingale's message with you.

He recorded this message in 1959, but it is just as powerful today, and applies to these times as much as it did then.

I first heard of this recording, when Bob Proctor mentioned it in a seminar. I decided that if it were recommended by a man such as Mr. Proctor, I must investigate. I Googled the title and found a download. I listen to it often and it picks me up when needed. It motivates me always.

Now, I hope that you will accept these words of wisdom as my gift to you.

Have an awesome life!

The World Has Gone Crazy, or at Least the American Part of It

The World Has Gone Crazy, or at Least the American Part of It

Trina L.C. Sonnenberg

In a time when there are more people who are poor than rich, when governments are running in the red, and people are suffering for lack of health care, what in the world is going on with our politicians?

Don't Tell Me What to Do!

Kicking the habit...

Trina L.C. Sonnenberg

Over the years, cigarettes have gotten an increasingly bad rap. Cigarettes cause cancer, has been the major cry from the non-smoking public. News reports claim that cigarettes contain cancer causing chemicals.

Whereas I don't doubt that cigarette smoking can lead to lung cancer, I became curious as to what these deadly chemicals are, and why they are used.

What's Wrong with This Picture?

What Is Wrong With this Picture?
The American Prison System.
Trina L.C. Sonnenberg

Anyone can see that there is a definite over population problem within the prison system here in the U.S.. Politicians talk about it, law makers have brought it to the table and brushed it aside, and some foolish men in power, actually decided that the solution to the dilemma would be to offer 'early release' to quite a few prisoners. I'm not talking about petty criminals either. All the pot smokers doing time are still doing it; violent criminals have been put through 'early release. Let me say that another way... Violent criminals have been freed to walk among us.

Bad Parenting?

Bad Parenting?
Trina L.C. Sonnenberg

I recently read an article regarding bad parenting. One thing that was brought up in the piece was that it was not a good idea to try to be your child's friend. The piece went on to state that attempting to be your child's friend was a major failing of parents of my generation. I beg to differ.

Feel Good! Attitude Adjustment

Trina L.C. Sonnenberg

Just before Christmas, I was desperately in need of some feel-good music. I am not one to listen to Christmas music, and I'm not real into the popular music of today, so I took it upon myself to purchase a Christmas gift for myself. I knew what I needed and went to Amazon.com to get it.

The Separation of Church and State

My understanding of the meaning of the phrase, 'Separation of church and state' :

It is true that the forefathers of our great country, fled to the Americas to be free from religious persecution. England had a state religion, and if you were to live a happy life there, you had better subscribe to that religion and practice it in the state dictated way. Many folks could just not go along with that and left, to live their lives as they saw fit.

Trina L.C. Sonnenberg

You know, you can't turn on the television theses days, without being blasted with all of the gloom and doom of the year 2012. At least not on the channels I watch, like: The History Channel, Discovery Channel, and Science Channel, etc.. If the Mayans only knew what they were starting...
