Dear Readers

A Personal Message
Trina L.C. Sonnenberg

Good morning Dear Readers;

I just want to let you know that I'm not going to be writing for you for awhile, and why. I am writing for me these days. I have begun work on a new book.

The project I am working on is nothing like the book I published last year, 'My Journey;' it is much bigger. I don't want to spoil the fun by telling you about it in detail. I will say that it is not a compilation project, nor has it anything to do with marketing, advertising, or home business. It is a book that has been in my head for years, screaming to get out. Well, the door has opened and the pages are filling fast.

I must take this ball an run with it, and I hope you will understand. I asked for direction and it came to me; therefore, I must follow it. Truthfully, I cannot stop the words from coming. It is the most awesome experience; like giving birth to a child, only without the pain involved.

I plan to pop in every now and again, to give you updates as to my progress, and to answer any questions you may have for me. I don't want you to feel abandoned. I am still here, following my passion. Please do not abandon me.

As always, you may contact me here: http://triizine.quikonnex.com

Have an awesome weekend!
Trii

Powerful Intentions : An Open Letter

Dear Friends;

This is an open letter to you all, to let you know that I appreciate you and your thoughts of concern. It warms my heart that I am thought so highly of by you.

I have been getting many requests from you all, to join new networking groups, and programs; thank you for thinking of me. I have joined many of them, but I must let you know that I just do not have the hours in the day to join and participate in them all. I honestly wish that there were; however, I am having to do some serious modifications to my schedule to keep up right now. (It is an awesome feeling to belong.)

I need time to market my book, save my house, and get after the book I am currently writing. Yes! my novel has begun to find its way to paper. I had the most incredible experience the other day... After reading a single chapter, the first chapter, of the book: 'Write It Down, Make It Happen,' (get this book) I wrote out a list of things that I wanted to do with my life. Are you familiar with the movie, 'The Bucket List?' It was a list like that. (No, I'm not kicking the bucket any time soon.)

The first thing I wrote down on my list was this: I am going to write the book that's inside my head.

This book has been inside my head for years, but I just didn't know where to start, and I kept making excuses for not starting it.

The very next day, I kid you not... The very next day, it started pouring out of me. I head flooded with how it was going to go. I grabbed my notebook and just wrote. When I finished, I had two-thirds of an outline completed! I was blown away! I was actually giggling over what I had done.

The faucet has been turned on, and it makes my heart sing. So, if you don't hear from me for awhile, please don't take it personally, or think I fell off the planet. I am writing! I do read your posts, and messages. I just don't have any extra-free time to answer them all personally; individually.

I appreciate you all; please never think otherwise. I thank you from the depths of my heart for your friendship.

Now I must get back to catching the flow. And, I do have a house to save.

Take care and have an awesome life! I'll catch up with you later.

Trina

PS: Don't stop writing to me... please. I love hearing from you. Your messages are an inspiration to me.

Something I Don't Understand

Time For Another Rant
Trina L.C. Sonnenberg

One of the things that I have become (begrudgingly) used to in forums and networking groups is the overwhelming number of ads I see. Now, I am not talking about people posting ads as forum content, I am referring to ads sent as a personal message after friendship has been accepted, or as an invitation itself.

Sloppy Copy...

Write Right Already!
Trina L.C. Sonnenberg

Being in the Internet marketing industry, I see and awful lot of ad copy, splash pages and sales letters every day. I am on the mailing lists of many popular gurus, and get email from them all. The one thing I have discovered is that not only do novices stray from the preaching of these so-called gurus, when advertising and creating web pages, but they themselves do not follow their own advice. What's up with that?

What do I mean by that statement?

Non-DeskView User's Everywhere...

Making Things Easier For You
Trina L.C. Sonnenberg

I realize that not all of my dear readers are using DeskView, or QuikView to read it; that a few still read it by coming to this web page. That got me to thinking about all that you may be missing, if you are not a DeskView or QuikView user.

Although I strongly encourage that you download, install and use DeskView (PC users), or QuikView (all other operating systems) I also realize that some folks are adverse to learning new things, even though I have written a user's guide for DeskView, and have decided to make things as easy as I know how to read all of the sections of The Trii-Zine Ezine, not just the feature page.

In the right sidebar of the page here, there is a table of contents. A list of each of the different sections that make up The Trii-Zine as a whole, if you will.

You see, I created this ezine to read more like a newspaper, with topical sections; This way, you can click to the section(s) you're interested in, rather than having to click through the whole shootin' match, to find something. And, each section is individually subscribable. Subscribe to the sections you're interested in, and skip the rest.

However...

If you aren't subscribed to a section through DeskView or QuikView, you are not getting instant desktop notification of the newest posts.

Each time a new post is made to a Quikonnex channel, like The Trii-Zine Ezine, and you have DeskView/QuikView open, you will receive a little alert on your desktop, lower right hand corner, telling you what has been posted and to where. This alert box only pops up when there is something new on a channel you are SUBSCRIBED to; which puts you in the driver's seat regarding the content you receive.

For those who just stubbornly refuse to try something new, I have come up with a way to notify you of what's new in the other sections of this ezine, by posting update alerts on the main page here. It will look like this:
Each section that has new content will have a double star by it **

Whois The Webmaster Here?

Finding Information on Web sites
Trina L.C. Sonnenberg

Have you gotten email from some place that you don't understand? By that, I mean, email informing you of a membership that you signed up for and have no memory of doing so. Have you tried to unsubscribe to something and been unsuccessful, and want to know who these jokers are who are sending all this junk to you?

This is how I research a company. At least, this is how I find out who is behind the domain. I do a Whois search on the domain name, to find its owner and contact information.

It is an easy task, and takes just a few minutes. You just have to know where to look.
