An automatic logout from the DeskView application is schedule for between 5:30am-6:00am EST on 9-11-06. A change is being implemented that should correct the disappearing tab and speaker images. Once you see the login form, you can log back in immediately, you will not need to wait. Thank you. Jim
Please accept my apologies for the brief database outage from 9:55pm to 10:10pm (EST) on 7/24/06. Our database needed some quick tweaking and the downtime was unavoidable.
The Quikonnex Documentation Forum is back online. There are some differences in the way MySQL 5.0 works versus our older MySQL 4.0 system which caused the problem. If you notice any other errors when you browse through the forum, please let me know. Jim
Last night between the hours of 2am and early this morning, one of our database tables had some problems. This caused problems with adding items and displaying RSS Feeds. This table has been repaired. We're now running the latest version of MySQL which will enable Quikonnex to futher expand our capabilities. Please accept my personal apologies for any problems that you may be experiencing during our growth stage. Jim
The bookmarks in QuikView and DeskView should be ready shortly. However, now the forums need a little debugging. The documentation in the forum will be available soon. Jim
The Quikonnex bookmark system is currently undergoing an upgrade. We're updating our database versions in order to add on additional servers for performance improvement. Please be patient. Some of the programs are not compatible with the latest database versions and need to be debugged. Sorry for the inconvience. Jim
A security code will now be required for visitors to post comments to channels. This code is embedded in an image below the comment form on each item. Quikonnex members who are logged in, are not required to enter this code. This anti-spam measure is in addition to the extensive Quikonnex spammer blacklist.
Please accept our apologies for the service outage this morning (5/8/06). The facility that hosts our server had communications problems that rendered our site unreachable. Everything seems to be operating normally again. Jim
