Man... today I woke up feeling like I over-did it. All that cleaning made me feel like I did an all-day workout. But I'm grateful. Yesterday one of my business partners is doing great and she's really moving with her business. I'm sooo glad she's in my AIM because she don't have to keep calling me with a question.

I decided to start a summer journal. Just so I can keep up with myself, and everyone can keep up with me. I may podcast some, or just write them out. It depends on my mood.
Today was one of those super-cleaning-my-butt-off days. I try to keep up with FlyLady with the 15mins here and there to break up my days but once in awhile I will fall short... only human. :) So today was full of chores. Washing was one of the main ones. But you know what's interesting... I always seem to know when it's a sunny and very windy day to hang clothes out to dry.

Are you ready for the consequences. I've been truth seeking for about a month now.. WHY? Well.. there has been many programs out there trying to get criticize the movie "TheSecret.tv" and it's been connected to the idea of being a "New Age" follower. So I've been looking what being a "New Ager" really is, why it's considered heresy for a lot of people, and why is this idea sort of a 50/50 scenario regarding what is truth and what isn't.
As for the previous podcast about the nature of Self-Development and the ideas of spirituality behind it, this subject became an interesting topic. Since we started the Science of Getting Rich classes in An Ever Better World Internet Academy, I started to notice that people are not rejected it because they don't think it will help them with achieving success or help others, but because it goes against their beliefs on what they think it takes to be successful. Even I started to feel as though I might be some kind of radical extremist. But there are some other considerations that need to be address.

Power To The People, seems like many have forgotten that all familiar chant of the 60's. Down here in Huntsville Alabama, it was announced on the news that some congressmen and state representatives voted to give themself a 62% pay raise. It drew a few protestors. This is the lowest state in the union for food stamp reciprients and THEY want a raise like that??? Makes me want to write them a letter telling them if they don't do something to update food stamp allowance for families, there won't be any voters of the poor class voting for them. But then again, maybe thats their plan, to eliminate the poor.

The art of self-development is one of the most controversial topics in the world today. Why?because it deals with spiritual growth. It would be hard for anyone to teach, coach, or have any position on self-development without different concepts of the spirit.
As the movie "thesecret.tv" is getting alot of bad press lately. But many have chosen to ignore it and consider this "New Age" teachings. The problem I have personally with this mindset, is these teachings are older than mud. I can't find anything NEW about universal laws.

So, since 'thesecret' used words like Universe instead of GOD, and more study is being done with the universal laws like the "law of attraction" Are we now coming into those times as Jmmanuel as predicted, or is this just a tip of the iceberg because we still may have false prophets from this?
IMHO, I think you're somewhat in err about us "seeking a path to ourselves". Aren't Christians suppose to be seeking Jesus and His way? Jesus said, "No one comes to the Father except through Me"

Silence-

Today was the day "thesecret" cast was on Oprah. It's been a huge topic since it came out late last year. The Movie has also changed many lives these past months. I know the last 6 months of 2006 went a lot diferent than the first 6, and that's just me personally. There's countless other testimonies of improved health, wealth, and even personal relationships with friends, family, and even co-workers.

Let's start by how I started this week. First, I decided to look at my Ching. I did some meditation and focused on a particular area of my life and received my hexagram of deliverance. I'm like…. Hmmm… Deliverance. This is a good topic to discuss in my podcast.
It said, "After a thunderstorm or any period of extreme tension, a period of new clarity and fresh opportunity follows. The storm has the effect of clearing the air and suddenly reducing atmospheric tension. Deliverance is at hand. So.. in the spirit of MLK day, I've been in a second chance mood. Then I was thinking what to get dinner going. I remember an italian show on the food network with a recipe for onions and potatoes. So yesterday when I went shopping I saw the small potatoes, and I was thinking, "Hey.. I should make that with some pot roast."
It's a perfect leftover or pre-prep meal to save you time. Yep.. I know exactly why I remembered the recipe, because she said, "It's even better the second time around."
