Ping multiple weblogs at once...
The beauty of working with a online community like Quikonnex is that you get hot tips from other publishers right in your own QuikView system. Open up your browser, click on the blinking channel light on your QuikView (which indicates that one of your favorite publishrs has just posted an item). Read, learn, take action...
And, this is the information I'm passing on. "There's a new kid on the block which will help you market your Qchannel to the world..."

Here's another content syndication idea...
"Syndicate your own Qchannel content to your own web site."
Now, why would you want to do that?

Syndication of your Qchannels is a powerful way to promote your site and your online business.
Why?
Well, as much as the technology of the Internet has evolved in recent years, its underlying principles have not changed at all...

The Internet is running hot with e-mail from numerous marketers on changes to the Can-spam act, the FTC and its potential implementation of the use of suppression lists as a solution to reduce spam.
The hysteria is not going to stop, and the solutions (bureaucratic and commercial) being debated just won't work...

Question: Where does EVERYONE go when they use a computer?
Well, there are actually two answers to this question being; their desktop and their browser.
So, if you were marketing anything on the net where would you want your primary message to be?

Quality information has always been important.
This bears repeating... "Quality information on your topic of choice always has been and always will be valuable spider food for Search Engines."
Now, for those of you who understand how powerful a technique writing and posting articles in ezines, and articles directories has always been in getting quality traffic to your own web site think about what this now means when you have your own Qchannel.
Use your Qchannel in the following ways...

There has been a pattern of complaint lately!
I get a lot of email every day, unfortunately... because most of the people I subscribe to are still using that medium to communicate. There's been a pattern of complaint recently, and it goes something like this.
Guru says... email is a perfectly viable medium and...

Now Here's An Idea For A Content Rich Site.
Search Engines are in the business of ranking content. The better they rank content the more visitors they get and the more visitors they get the more paying advertisers they get. GOOGLE understand this and this is why it is the dominant Search Engine.
So, how can one use this information to get traffic to your site?

The use of multimedia applications on the web is becoming more prevalent every day. It is now almost common to use audio on a web site. This is a good thing. Multimedia extends Human communication.
Qchannels can be used to deliver multimedia on the web. You'll see (if you look to the right of this item) that I've used audio to *speak* to you, but you can also use multimedia within the content of a Qchannel item.
I've just created a FlashEmercial for another project I'm working on, ftp'd it up to my server, and then used HREF to reference the FlashEmercial with a text link.
However, I also used a popup generator program to create the popup code, and with a minor amount of fiddling I've now got a sized popup that presents when the text link is clicked.
There are many possible multimedia extensions for this idea. The use of Camtasia videos being one.
So, what we have now (with Qchannels) is a system that is creates content live... is spidered by the search engines and can also be used to present multimedia information from WITHIN the content. Neat!
So, think multimedia with your Qchannels.
Cheers

Web sites [by their nature] are static things. Qchannels [by their nature] are fluid things.
Search Engines make their money by giving their visitors fresh, relevant content. The more relevant the content, the more visitors the SE's get... and thus the more $'s for the SE's.
Now, here's an idea that will help you reap a harvest from the SE's, drive traffic to your web site, drive traffic to your Qchannel, and back again... [con't]

Thanks for the compliment, I'm pleased you can see the 'power' of these backlinking/ cross linking strategies.
They're always about giving the search engines what they want "paths to 'within-theme' and related content".
However, you missed one part... you could have backlinked from your own comment here to your own (related) web site or a page on your web site.
I always leave the backlinks on my Qchannel comments whenever people contribute to the topic in a meaningful way, as follows... :-) (notice the backlink?)

Why publish online? I mean what's the point?
Well, simply put the purpose is to get yourself a readership in your area of expertise or special interest. The ezine days are long gone when to sell stuff on the web you published a list of ads with some content filler that masqueraded as an ezine. The online community...

There's a quiet revolution happening on the web in online publishing. If you're not yet aware of it then you need to be, because it is going to radically change the way you promote your web business in the future.
For anyone paying attention EMAIL is in it's death throes. Email RIP.
SPAM Legislation across the world won't fix the problem, because the real spammers are operating in countries outside of legislative control, and the resources needed to stop these people won't be there to support and/ or enforce these laws.
Oh yes... there will be furtive legislative attempts made to control it, but more than likely the target will end up being some small to mid sized well meaning publisher who's just made a genuine mistake.
And email's self appointed Thought Police react first... ask questions later.
ENTER THE ALTERNATIVE TO EMAIL.
Regardless of the email mire people will continue to come onto the web. That's why the internet was developed, and this is what continues to drive it... the search for information.
When you truly *get* this you'll understand how to market on the web.
Pay attention! Bill Gates is talking about including RSS functionality in the next version of IE. AOL is lining up. The majors are closely examining ways to use this RSS technology.
This Qchannel is completely focused on the use of Qchannels to market on the web. Subscribe to it to learn Qmarketing tactics, strategies and techniques.
