My time in Bolivia has quickly come to an end. For the past week after arriving back from Paraguay I’ve been slowly saying my goodbyes to the kids I’ve been working with at the orphanage and also the friends I’ve made during my time in Santa Cruz.

When people return from Asia they tell everyone about how sick they got. When people return from travels to South America the talk is all about the bus trips. For me, the bus tirp from Bolivia to Paraguay was a form of ‘adventure’ tourism that i’d never previously experienced.

Since my last blog entry i've slept on an island in Lake Titicaca with no electricity for a night, explored the streets of the world's highest capital city and been grateful to still be alive on many occassions due to the sketchy South American bus system.
