Why is there a shortage of flu shots?

I just read that the company in England that manufactures the vaccine has shut down. They are citing manufacturing problems. Why? They would have furnished 46 million vaccines to the United
States.

Why isn't there a manufacturer here in the United States?

Why isn't our Government doing anything about this?

Doctors everywhere are angry over this. One doctor in Rhode Island is telling his patients to get out and vote for candidates that puts the public's health in front of the market's health.
