Setting Up A Sales Funnel For Your Web Site, Part 3...
| Friday, August 27, 2004 |
Every Product Sold Online Needs A Sales Funnel! When a Human Being [PERSON] arrives at your web site they have a conversation going on in their head about THEIR needs, and how you might solve their problem.
>Your job as an online marketer is to anticipate this conversation and continue it using this remarkable, simple internet marketing strategy...>
ALL selling is a process. It is not always about arriving at an immediate destination, it's about negotating mutually agreed commitments between the buyer and the seller. This is a process of EXCHANGE.
Many internet marketers continually act like bullies in a kid's sandpit. "I've got you to my web site (somehow), now BUY from me!"
The sales copy reads something like this... "I've got this uBueat (Aussie expression for "must have") new system, ebook, program etc... and you're a complete loser if you don't buy it from me, right now!"
There are major problems with this approach, because at its (non) ethical core the seller doesn't care a damn about the buyer. The buyer is only perceived by the seller (in this instance) as a sales statistic.
And... apart from the maniplative approach it is just plain STUPID!>
Remember this: A truly satisfied customer is worth 100 times the price of a one time sale. I'll repeat that... "a truly satisfied customer is worth 100 times the price of a one time sale".
Every web site needs a sales funnel... Yes!
Aside from all the internet marketing gizmos, techniques, stategies, sales copy that converts prospects to buyers there is ONE critical, immeasurable, immutable LAW!
Treat your prospects/ customers well (very well) and they will return your generosity 100 fold in completely surprising and wonderful ways.
This sales technique is called (your) ATTITUDE!
Get this right first... then build your sales system.
Now that's a completely revolutionary internet marketing strategy/ leading edge internet marketing technique now isn't it?
Expect Success
