I am a Q publisher and I can personally attest to the fact that pinging Weblogs.com has had a major affect on the traffic to my web site. I went from 40 visitors a day in August, to 160 visitors a day in September, the first month with Q. So far the stats for October are down a little from that but it's still early in the month and I did not do a whole lot of posting the last week or so.
All in all I am very pleased with the results of my switch over to Q. I certainly do not miss all the aggravation that comes with running an email list. No more subscription maintenance headaches. No more angry subscribers because of bad unsubscribe links. No more email filters to worry about. I can say what I want to say without worrying about setting off a spam filter.
