Would you like to get the word out on your channel? One way we're doing it now is to do what is called "Pinging Weblogs". There's a new kid on the block and it's more than weblogs. It's what's called a meta-pinger. Just like there are search engines that allow you to search multiple search engines, Ping-O-Matic allows you to ping multiple locations from one site.

Go to http://www.pingomatic.com and enter the name of your "blog" page (for example, http://quikonnex.com/channel/page/grayscales), and a title for your blog, and then check off the sites you want to ping and submit. It's that easy.

One exception to their process is one site, http://rootblog.com. You'll want to visit that site first and enter your RSS feed URL (for example, http://quikonnex.com/channel/view/grayscales). This will get your channel listed there. If you check RootBlog off on Ping-O-Matic and your site is not registered there, then you'll get an error.
