Syndicate your channel content to your own web site...

Kenneth Doyle - Qchannel Marketing Techniques

Here's another content syndication idea...

"Syndicate your own Qchannel content to your own web site."

Now, why would you want to do that?

If you're an SBI web site user or Qchannel publisher you already know that "CONTENT IS KING" on the web.

While other folk are rushing around trying to work the latest new traffic building system you're just quietly providing what the web (aka Search Engines) wants... quality content within your chosen theme, and thus being rewarded with prequalified, quality traffic from the SE's.

Now, what if we were to take the ideas of "content", "syndication", "auto responders" and "in-bound linking" and merge them into a content promotional system for our web site. What would happen? Much more traffic methinks?

Supercharge your content:

Large sites have used News Feeds for a long time to deliver up to date content on specific topics (usually political, economic and entertainment related information) to their visitors. One of the reasons they've done this is to increase the stickability of their site. Another reason is to create in-bound links by sharing these content news feeds with other sites.

If you have a content rich web site here's how you can take these (above) techniques and make them work for you and your own site.

  1. Find points in your existing (static) web site content where you can extend the ideas raised in the (static) content.
  2. At these points in the content pull your own news feed for your own dash channel that deals specifically with that topic on the static web page.
  3. Publish regularly on this specific topic (in your dash channel) and it will be pulled onto your web site every time you publish.
  4. Keep your content completely focused on the specific topic.

Now, what have you just created?

  • Constantly changing (within theme) content which is being spidered by the SE's from two distinctly separate sources. Your sources.
  • In-bound (within theme) deep links to your own web site, which the SE's reward highly.
  • Valuable, fresh content for your visitors. They will be more willing to subscribe to a non-email based format delivering quality content on a subject they're interested in... and in the process they'll be exposed to all those other wonderful topics you regularly publish on in your other Qchannels (via the links on your channel's sidebar).

Cheers

Kenneth Doyle
