A New Direction

I began my Internet career trying to promote a company that I believe in; Melaleuca. However, through a process of trial and error, I came to realize that no matter how much I knew about or believed in the products, I was not good at getting people to wrap their brains around the concept of switching stores to buy the things they already shop for. Getting a better product for the same cost was not something that others seemed to grasp. I enrolled a great many people, but they all quit me and went back to shopping at the stores they had shopped before their introduction to Melaleuca. The problem was that they continued to shop for inferior products at their regular store, and viewed Melaleuca as an added expense. The whole idea behind Melaleuca is to redirect the money already being spent each month on these types of products to the Melaleuca store, not to spend extra money on things that you normally don't use. No one seemed to get that. If you can't afford to shop at Melaleuca each month, you're still shopping someplace else.

This is a list of things I buy each month, that I have always bought, but redirected to Melaleuca:

shampoo
hair spray
conditioner
body wash
toothpaste
hand soap
bath soap
dish soap
laundry products - (detergent, spot remover, fabric softener, color safe enhancer)
toilet bowl cleaner
cosmetics
furniture polish
glass cleaner
vitamins
shaving cream
deodorant

My status with the company requires that I purchase 75 product points worth of products each month. By the time I am done getting everything I need, I usually rack up about 125 product points for the month. Meeting the monthly requirement is a snap since I just changed stores. I am not buying things that I don't need, or won't use. I don't have a garage full of products. I buy what I use and that's it.

Every time I shop there, someone gets paid based on how much I spend, and I get 10% back on every dollar I spend, in free products. I bank those loyalty dollars and go Christmas shopping with them.

The way I see it is that every dollar I spend at Melaleuca is a dollar I don't spend at Wal-Mart and it is my way of supporting American jobs. I'd rather spend my money on products that are safe, made here in the U.S, than to spend it o crap from China and Mexico. But that is just me.

I have been a member for ten years and love their stuff. I will never go back to shopping for personal care or cleaning products from Wal-Mart. But, since I don't seem to be good at keeping people as members, I gave up on marketing it and decided that I would market myself instead.

I want to help the world in any way that I can, and if sharing better, safer and more affordable products, made in the U.S.A. isn't going to do the trick, I figure that helping people improve their circumstances through sharing self improvement practices and my mentors is the direction to take now.

Since following these awesome people, I have been able to create the life I want, and I want to show others how to do it too.

Please take this opportunity to have a look at what has worked for me and what can work for you. Click here for awesome information.

I am happy because I choose to be, and you can be too; all you have to do is make the choice.

Have an awesome day!

Trina
