Focus Adjustment Needed
Out of Focus

I have a question for scholars of the Law of Attraction. I believe in the Law of Attraction, and have seen it at work in my own life. Lately though, I have been having trouble with maintaining a positive attitude.

I have a question for scholars of the Law of Attraction. I believe in the Law of Attraction, and have seen it at work in my own life. Lately though, I have been having trouble with maintaining a positive attitude.
I keep a gratitude journal, and add to it each day. I use positive affirmations in the mirror, several times a day. When I come upon something that brings a smile to my lips, I pause and give thanks for that which caused me to smile. I make myself available to others who could use my help, with just about everything. I really have much to be grateful for.
Even doing all of those positive actions, negative thoughts slip inside my head, and I am having trouble forcing them back out. Could this be a conditioned response of a problem solver?
I have always been one to take on challenges, and follow through to resolution. I admit, that I am a perfectionist, even though I know that perfection is an illusion of perception. So, when something I perceive is out of order, I tend to focus on resolving the situation. I'm not satisfied until it is closed.
How do I envision the resolution to these challenges that slip past the 'positive only' gate? I have accepted the things I cannot change, I have courage to change the things I can, but I think I sometimes lack the wisdom to know the difference.
Do you ever experience this? What seems to work for you to deal with it?

Maybe it isn't necessarily bad that you occassional have a negative thought. Sometimes you can take that negative energy and refocus it to productivity. Sometimes I work my hardest when I am trying to prove a point. It is okay to have all emotions in control. You know a positive person 100% of the time is not really believable. Have you noticed this nasty world/society that we live in. There is reason for negative at times. Just for a moment though and then get right back to it.
Hi Trina,
I've been there. For me, I let my emotions be my guide. If I am feeling sad or anxious or resentful, then I know I am not in the right vibrational match for that which I want.
What works for me is Visualization. I focus on only what I want, or see what it will be like when things are they way that I want. I visualize myself receiving this thing and I feel the positive emotions.
When your emotions are back on track you will begin to see that you will attract to you what you want.
Also, sometimes when I just don't know what to do, when I go to bed, I turn it over to my higher power and ask that my inner being figure it out while I am sleeping. I ask that I wake up feeling refreshed and happy. Almost always when I wake up I have the answer that I was looking for. It is a matter of stopping all of the chatter that is going on in your brain.
I hope this helps sweetie!
Your Friend, Wendy
Hi Trina I know what you mean. And it can be very difficult. But try to focus on turning your negative thoughts into positive thoughts. Just do the best you can. Everyone goes through more difficult times. Hang in there.
Big Hugs
Barb :)
