Many issues can be discussed such as the challenge of overcoming weight loss plateaus. Sometime we can successfully change our eating habits, do some exercise and make progress for several weeks, or even a few months. Then all of a sudden the weight loss stops. That is called a plateau and it is totally normal although very frustrating.
Loosing weight is never just plain easy but when hitting a plateau it is important it is just a natural step along the way. So when the scale just won’t budge, don’t give up! Keep up your routine and with patience, your weight loss will begin again. Don’t use a plateau as an excuses to eat away all your good work.
Perhaps what you could use is a little bit of variety. Sometimes when we do the same thing over and over again, our body can become used to it and become extremely efficient at burning calories. Why not try out a new exercise or some change in variety what you eat, a new recipe perhaps. Weight loss takes some creativity at times.
What type of activity are you doing? Maybe try something new to spice things up. So if you’ve been walking, maybe try aerobics or swimming. Also look too change how long your workout and how strenuous. Successful weight loss is a combination of many factors.
Take an honest look at your food choices, excersise and what thoughts and attitudes you've had of late. How are you feeling? Time to get excited and motovated on healthy weight loss. You can do it!
