May 26, 2008 will live in TE infamy

Eva J. Mah
Nexus Exchange Owner/Admin

Monday, May 26, 2008 was Memorial Day in the United States. That date will be remembered by Bob Culbertson as the day Aaron and Eva gave him $1000 just for being a member of Nexus Exchange!

Bob is an experienced marketer who has been online longer than either Aaron or I have. He has been a loyal member of Nexus Exchange since we first launched in 2005.

What did Bob do with the money? We have no idea. We did, however, have a newly upgraded member the day after the payment went through. Thank you, Bob!

We were pleased to award the prize to a long-standing Nexus Exchange member, but we would have been just as happy giving the money to a new member. Members make a traffic exchange successful. We appreciate each and every one of you.

NEXUS EXCHANGE UPDATE

Now accepting AlertPay
Nexus Exchange now has AlertPay as a payment processor for credit package purchases.

Guaranteed 5 bonus credits per 25 sites viewed
The surf bar shows a BONUS CREDIT link every 25 sites viewed. We guarantee that when you click that link, at least 5 credits will be added to your account. The more you surf, the more bonus credits you can claim.

Get credit for showing your Nexus Exchange referral pages
Now earn up to 100 credits per day for showing your Nexus Exchange referral pages. Each unique hit to your personal referral URL or to any of our splash pages linked to your referral ID is worth 0.1 credit to your account. Daily cap on credits earned this way is 100 credits for all members.

New script, new procedures
On our previous operating script, you had very little control over your advertising credits as all of your credits were distributed automatically to your active campaigns. Now, you decide how many credits go to each of your campaigns. Plus, upgraded members receive their monthly bonus when they login to their accounts at the beginning of each month.

Assign your bonus credits
The auto-assignment of credits applies only to credits earned by viewing sites. Bonus credits claimed on the surf bar are NOT assigned to your campaigns. Bonus credits are added to your credit store. You must assign your bonus credits to the campaigns of your choice. Credits move quickly, so keep your site in rotation by assigning your bonus credits.

Support Conferences are no more
We no longer offer live online support conferences. You can still reach us readily by email and telephone, or post in our section of NetMarketing Forum.

THROUGH THE EYES OF Eva ...

The easiest way to brand yourself is to use your own photograph. I have noticed on the traffic exchanges lately that people are choosing to use pictures that are not the standard head-and-shoulders passport-style shot. When I see these more casual pictures, certain thoughts come to my mind about the person in the picture. And you know me, if I am bringing the subject up here, these thoughts are not flattering ones.

Have you ever thought about what your picture is saying to your web site visitors?

The not-looking-directly-at-the-camera look says to me:
You can't you look me in the eye, so I probably can't trust you.

The looking-over-the-shoulder pose says to me:
I've caught you trying to sneak out the back door. Even you don't believe the sales pitch on your page.

The chin on fist pose says to me:
You must be really bored with what you do, so I don't think your offer is for me.

I'm just saying ...

Charles,

In my dream, I am an honest, no-nonsense kind of gal that my customers and clients trust.

My online picture is a 20-year old "Glamour Shot," but I am looking you square in the eye, not trying to run away or looking bored to tears.

I will remember not to look standoffish in my next online pic.

Eva,

I've been wondering about the use of those other photos. Some of them look pretty standoffish, sort of like saying, "I'm better than you, because I have a professional headshot." I mean, we're NOT models, we're just a bunch of people with a dream!

Best Wishes,
