Burst Out Of Your Comfort Zone
Eva J. Mah
Nexus Exchange Owner/Admin
So, how many New Year's resolutions have you broken so far? Making changes can be a difficult process, especially if habits are involved. There are several suggested methods for changing behaviors. I have found the best way is just to go for it. Never mind the kinder, gentler, ease-into-it crap. To make a successful change, burst out of your comfort zone.
I must admit that I had a little help in learning this lesson. Last year I was making lots of plans, lots of promises, but not much progress. Finally got confronted by my business partner about it. I made a lot of excuses. I blamed the work environment. Said that I would fix it after Christmas. Well, Christmas came and next thing I knew, I was plopped into a new work environment, courtesy of Aaron. He knew that I was too comfortable where I was, and he knew things would not change without some outside input. So I admit it. I did not burst out of my comfort zone, I was shoved!
Anything worth doing is worth doing whole hog. Shake things up and get things working in your life. Oh, and accept a little help from friends, too.

New TE script
Why the sudden flurry of housekeeping?
Nexus Exchange is finally entering the new millenium! As we type, John Higgins is busy installing a new script to run the exchange. When we are ready to go live with the new LJ script, we will need a few hours downtime, but we will warn you in advance. It should happen in the next couple of weeks.
Oh, and as an aside, and a shameless plug, John Higgins can now be reached by email at Nexus Exchange. No job is too small for him to consider. He is very experienced in house-sitting, dog-sitting, and we believe he has php programming skills as well. Just shoot off a message to john [at] nexusexchange.com
SplashPoints Update
SplashPoints can now be claimed on the surfbar
every 20th site viewed. You may trade your
SplashPoints for products and services anywhere that
SplashPoints are accepted. For the current list of premium merchants,
go to the SplashPoints Shop. At the moment, the Nexus Exchange Shop is empty, but once we change over to the LJ script, products will be added.
Site Acceptance Policy Change
Due to a change in the TOS of Google AdSense, sites displaying AdSense ads will no longer be accepted at
Nexus Exchange. We do this to keep our members from losing their AdSense accounts. If you have a site in rotation with AdSense ads on it, please login and delete that site.
Support Conferences are no more
We no longer offer live online support conferences. You can still reach us readily by email and telephone, or post in our section of
NetMarketing Forum.
New Contact Information
Visit our support page to view all the ways that you can get in touch with us. Please note that the phone number has changed. The new support phone number is Eva's cell phone number. Eva has taken charge of all support issues related to ACPeavy Enterprises programs as she can more readily access a computer than Aaron can nowadays. If you just want to pick Aaron's brain, you can still reach him at the old number (as long as he is traveling through an area with cell phone coverage).
OUR PICK
The Chocolate Cafe
Two years ago, when we first met Elizabeth Cristofolini, the owner of
The Chocolate Cafe, she wanted help setting up a website to sell homemade candy via the traffic exchanges. We told her that it would never work. We said that her target audience would not be found in the exchanges. Did she give up? Of course not, and thank goodness that she didn't. Not only does she have her website now, but she has an offline restaurant as well.
Thank you Elizabeth, for proving that dreams really can come true.
THROUGH THE EYES OF Eva ...
Work: a 4 letter word
How come words like
lazy,
secret,
underground and
steal are so popular for salespage headlines nowadays? Doesn't anybody want to earn an honest living online anymore? It doesn't seem like it.
I understand that the benefits of a product or service must be emphasized in ad copy. And people want things that will make life easier on them. But how come words with a negative connotation are chosen for the headline? How did stealing and being lazy become selling points? Is it any wonder how internet marketers get a bad rep?
