FEATURED ARTICLE

Absent (minded) Traffic Exchange Owners
Eva J. Mah
Nexus Exchange Owner/Admin

Traffic exchange owners who seemingly disappeared off the face of the earth was a popular topic for 2007. I kept checking to see if Aaron and I made the list of MIA owners. Yesterday, I realized that I had nothing to worry about. We hadn't actually disappeared. Support for Nexus was taken care of. The website was maintained. We were not absent at all. We're just absent-minded because we forgot about the newsletter.

We have been unusually quiet this year. In re-evaluating our business plan, we realized that adjustments needed to be made for the growth of ACPeavy Enterprises. Both
Nexus Exchange and Cache Articles needed of some TLC that we couldn't provide under the established plan. We had some hard decisions to make, decisions that would effect many facets of our relationship. As Aaron will readily tell anybody, I don't like change. Negotiations were tense at times, but we came through it all with a stronger partnership.

The experience taught us that in any partnership, professional or personal, communication is key for success. Views must be expressed to all parties concerned. Issues must be discussed as they occur. But, in the end, each party makes a decision based on his/her own values and needs. You do not agree to something "for the good of the relationship" unless that relationship benefits you personally.

Along those lines, we, as owners of Nexus Exchange, are in partnership with you, the members. To uphold our responsibility to you, we need to be more proactive in notifying you of program changes so that you can decide whether to stay a member or upgrade. Only you can decide if Nexus Exchange is worth your time and money, but we must provide you with the information necessary to make that decision.

We look forward to continuing our relationship with you, and to meeting your advertising needs. Here is to a prosperous 2008 for all.

THROUGH THE EYES OF Eva ...

I think I've become an "old school" online marketer.

Remember the days when you were encouraged to put your picture on your web pages? You were told that it didn't matter if you didn't look like a model? Now, all I see are pictures of models!!! What gives? How do we brand ourselves if web graphics include pictures of models? Pictures of people and faces just don't stand out anymore. I think that is sad.

The world is filled with so much sadness at this time.

This creates the feeling of nothing being safe. They then find an old picture of Marilyn, Betty Gable, or perhaps a new one of Paris Hilton.

Life if filled with good and bad so put them all in a brown paper bag and shake
besure to pull out the good.
