What Good Nutrition Is Really About

More on good health and the part food plays

Tuesday, June 19, 2007

The introduction of a complete, whole food into your daily diet is absolutely essential for good nutrition.  This is the ultimate health food.

What if you left one ingredient, like lead for instance out of gasoline would it still work efficiently?  Would it still get your vehicle from 'here' to 'there' as efficiently and quietly as it would with lead?

I seriously doubt it.  More than likely your engine would pound itself into oblivion before long.

This is the exact same reason we need a complete nutrient, a whole food, to feed our bodies with for the most efficient (healthy) result.

One of the best examples I know of for proving my case is the making of serotonin in our bodies.  This is a naturally occurring brain chemical that most everybody knows about.  If you don't have enough of it, you become depressed.  To make serotonin, your body starts out with an amino acid called, “triptophan,” and it requires eight vitamins and minerals.  To make it, your body has to have folate, calcium, iron, vitamin B3, zinc, vitamin B6, magnesium and vitamin C.

If you're missing just one of those, you can't make serotonin so you become depressed.

Understanding this, I believe, is critical to understanding why so many food supplements, “health drinks”, ordinary nutraceuticals and so on that you can find today may have good effects for a few people but completely miss the mark for many people.

Many people are missing one of the essential vitamins or other required elements.  It may be zinc, for example, which is a common deficiency in our population.

So…no zinc, no serotonin, you become depressed.

If you happen to take some sort of a nutraceutical that incorporates triptophan (which has been described as “a calming amino acid”) without taking some zinc, you may possibly have a very dramatic effect and think, “Wow!  This is the greatest stuff ever!”

However, this only works for about fifteen percent of people.  Understanding that fact helps us understand why so many nutraceuticals just don't work for everyone the way we would hope that they might work.  So what we really need is a complete nutrient, a complete, whole food.

Once this is understood, we must start the search for a complete food and they really are quite hard to find.  One of the few out there are eggs and raw milk.  And if you think about it, an egg has everything in it necessary that’s for life, because you can make a chicken out of an egg.  Mammals (except for humans, unfortunately) feed their young exclusively on raw milk...need I say more?

One of the problems in very sick people is that they can't tolerate the protein that’s in eggs or milk, and so they get caught in kind of in a catch twenty-two in that you need to give them a complete food, but they can't tolerate eggs or milk.

This is where FrequenSea with Marine Phytoplankton comes in.  When the availability of Marine Phytoplankton was first announced I became quite excited, because for the first time I’m aware of there’s now a substance that’s like an egg in that it has everything necessary for life, and yet it’s different in the sense that it's made up of microscopic plants.  Because it's microscopic it can enter the body without having to go through the digestive system.  This means that desperately needed proteins and fats can enter a diseased body directly and do it the good that it needs.

If you examine the physical makeup of Marine Phytoplankton (click here), you'll find that it has essentially everything in it that’s necessary for life.  Whales eat nothing else and live to be a hundred-and-fifty years old, what does that tell you?  So, it is a complete food.

Dr. Jerry Tennant, MD reports that when his critically ill patients start to use FrequenSea there is often an immediate effect and a lot of these people start getting better quite quickly.

And so, the main concept I'd like people to take away from this discussion is that when you’re trying to improve something that’s not working right, it generally means that you have one of those key ingredients missing.  It generally means that the nutrition you’re getting is incomplete and needs a boost.

When prominent medical people like Dr. Bob Rowe, Dr. Jerry Tennant and Dr. Mark Cochrane tell us that FrequenSea is the most complete food on the planet perhaps we should be paying very close attention.

As always, the overall message of all my articles is simply this, I do what I do what little I can to help people get healthy and stay that way.  I try to keep it simple, understated, without flair, hype or the usual things seen on the Internet.  I try to keep my reports refreshingly simple, direct, a little fun and most of all informative.  I'm doing everything I can think of to get my messages as close to the top of Google, Yahoo, MSN and others as I can.

Your comments are always welcome as long as they're polite.
