I decided to start a summer journal. Just so I can keep up with myself, and everyone can keep up with me. I may podcast some, or just write them out. It depends on my mood.
Today was one of those super-cleaning-my-butt-off days. I try to keep up with FlyLady with the 15mins here and there to break up my days but once in awhile I will fall short... only human. :) So today was full of chores. Washing was one of the main ones. But you know what's interesting... I always seem to know when it's a sunny and very windy day to hang clothes out to dry.
To keep the cost of electricity down due to air conditioning, I always try to hang dry. It still put clothes in the dryer, but not as long, just enough to remove lent. It took no time for a day like this. Now what else? Cooking no doubt. But the time I made sure to do some baking so the wind would also keep the kitchen cool.
This week I'm starting some eccentric exercises. Why?
- Well, I'm all about short-cuts
- I don't have the time for 20-30mins routines that I can stick wth
- I don't feel like jumping around in the morning
I'll probably through in some yoga stretches but for now, I just need to tone up quickly. My 2yr old is going to work me to death this summer and I want to make sure I can keep up. I know we tend to pick up weight after having kids, but I don't see how it sticks especially during the summer. It's all about being outside.
So I figured I better turn some of my RPM's into my summer journal. I don't know how well I'll stick to it, or how much time I'll be online esp with my daughter, neice, and nephew out of school. All between the ages of 8-10yrs old is enough to get ya moving too.
