We are please to open up the ability to allow people OUTSIDE of Deskview to come into a QuikChat session with you.

All Deskview members have access to their personal QuikChat Online page by going to http://YOUR_QNAME.allonq.com (put in your Qname in place of YOUR_QNAME).  Your QuikChat Online will come up as being closed.  Once you go into QuikChat in Deskview (QuikChat icon in Panels & Launchers - then click on the yellow bubble at the top beside YOUR CHAT ROOM).  Once you have entered QuikChat from Deskview, your QuikChat Online will open up and allow visitors to login within 30 seconds).

This has various uses, the most important is the ability to use QuikChat Online as part of a teleconference, a call on Skype/Yahoo IM, a SkypeCast - anywhere you have some type of voice component.  This gives you the ability to add "chat" and "co-browser" to your voice call and give you a light weight conference environment where you can "push" content to the participants.

Your QuikChat Online is a FREE feature of your DeskView.  It is normally supported by advertisement revenue to help offset the costs.

If you would like to remove the advertisements, all that is necessary is to subscribe to any level of either QStudio or QHelper.  You will then have the ability to set your own homepage for QuikChat online.

Once you have an active subscription of either QStudio or QHelper, you may go to Add/Edit Connector URL inside QStudio and set the homepage for Deskview QuikChat.  Once you set a homepage the advertisements will stop showing.
