I am always slightly dubious of these kind of polls. You know, the 100 best songs of all time and stuff like that.
These polls are so subjective and because of this they are great food for rousing and passionate arguments during a rehearsal break with your bandmates.
I must say though with this particular poll I find myself agreeing with it in so many ways.
What makes a good song and what makes a bad can mean many different things to many different people. However, all the songs in this poll seem to have the hallmarks of 'hits' written all over them and they have shifted millions upon millions of units between them.
I suppose that it goes to show that some songs are well sold, not well bought.
