The LA Times reported today that the Prosperity Automated System (PAS) is being targeted by the Securitys & Exchange Commission (SEC). Their goal is to shut them down. Honestly, I'm not familiar with their products or compensation plan, but having the SEC go after you is bad news from any perspective. If you're involved in any similar programs, you might want to pay attention to this case.
You can read more about it here: Internet Pyramid Scheme Alleged - LA Times. I would be interested in learning from folks involved in this program more about how PAS sells their products and services.

Prosperity automated system. It is a scam. I 've been stupid to get into it and been ruin by scammers!! Pyramide scheme!! Totally!!Asking someone on the street to give you 3000$ and telling them to get their 3000$ back by asking someone else enought dumb to give it to you. Isn't it stupid???? And then to get more money, go ask as much people as you can to give you their money in exchange for air so you can be rich ??? what a f...ing world of idiots and crooks with sharks teeth!!!
Jim..
I've had several customers who have been quite successful
with the PAS program and can afford and do advertise
agressively.
PAS has overcome other challenges in the past, over ad
copy. The FTC did not like money claims or their money back
guarantee; (which I understand, they still honor; but don't
advertise.)
I'm not directly involved myself, but one of my customers
has shared back office information with me. They seem to
be taking steps; in fact were already taking steps to
address issues that may be scrutinized by the SEC. They
sound optimistic but are not giving their members any
false hopes. We'll see. I for one hope they stand the test..
I will miss the business.

Thanks Philena! I changed the link.
For some reason, the link doesn't work directly unless you are a member. So to pull up the story, just go to main page http://www.latimes.com/ and do a search for "Prosperity Automated System" (PAS) and the story will come up.
