So many ways to advertise! It can be mind-boggling. But let’s focus on one area of advertising – PPC search engine advertising. Many people think that only the big engines work well with pay per click advertising, but quite the opposite is true.

There are many Internet marketers and affiliates using the big search engines, spending huge amounts to get to the top. They think that once they get there, they will be rolling in dough. That can take a long time and cost far more than they will realize in the end. Would you want to do that? I didn’t think so. The smaller, lesser-known search engines are a much better option.

Others may give a bonus based on the percentage of the first ad to be use later. These are usually lower than the cost of you bids. Some other search engines will offer matching bonuses for your first deposit up to a set amount. Your deposit will be match dollar for dollar. That is a very good deal! If this doesn’t convince you to try pay per click advertising with the smaller engines, nothing will.

Using pay per click advertising to your best advantage

Now that you can’t resist trying PPC search engine advertising with a smaller engine, you need to know how to take good advantage of it. One thing you can do is to ask business associates to place a search box for the chosen search engine on their web sites. This works especially well if they are in a related business but not in direct competition with yours. Also list in as many categories as are applicable to your business.
