Recording Studio And Live Music Tips - What's This?

Pulling a great studio or live sound shouldn't be like pulling teeth.

Welcome to my new blog "Recording Studio and Live Music Tips". Read on to find out what this is all about.

The music business exists because of songs and their ability to be performed and recorded.

This is where Recording Studio and Live Music Tips comes in very handy.

Pulling a great live mix is essential for a musical performance to become memorable for the listener. As a performing singer songwriter I personally think that if you can sort out your live sound you are half-way there.

If you are a studio or a live engineer (or both) your ears and your audio knowledge are your livelihood. I will be working with some co-publishers to provide to you the best information, tips, tools and resources to enable you to be the best studio or live engineer that you can be.

If you are just starting out then the information you will find will be GOLD!

If you are semi-professional or a pro then you may pick up new things but more importantly you will find that your knowledge will be vindicated by another source.

It's always nice to know that what you do is on the right track isn't it?

If you have any questions or want to give feedback please let me know. I want this to become a vibrant and interactive source of knowledge. Watch this space for new developments.

Until next time,

Hi Josh,

Don't worry. The tips on Live Music Concert Recording are coming albeit very slowly.

This blog is a co-production between myself, a studio and a live sound/PA hire company however, trying to co-ordinate all three of us to get this puppy started has been challenging.

The main reason that this blog exists is that I feel that more information on live music sound and recording needs to be out there on the web.

Keep watching this space. I assure you that you will start seeing the info you're looking for very soon.

Corey :)
