Good things come to those that wait.

Well.....

Its been a long time coming but the debut CD from Soul Trader "Pre-Cursor" is now ready to be unleashed onto an unsuspecting world. I must say, Simon and I are very pleased with the result.

It was a journey that started of in late 2003 (by this time the songwriting duo this is Soul Trader was not even concieved as yet) and finished just before Christmas last year so it was a rather long birthing process.

I became involved with the project initially as its musical director but it turned out to be a whole lot more than that.

There are six tracks on the EP, four of them written by Simon and two written by me. We called the EP "Pre-Cursor" because it is the taste of things to come.

We are going to start gathering and pre-producing songs for the next CD (a full length feature with a working title of "Project") after we officially release it on January 22nd.

If you are in Adelaide at that time you can check our CD launch at JIVE, Hindley Street in Adelaide from 6-10pm.

Its a wonderful feeling hearing your songs recorded and put out into the world. I want to do it again real soon.
