Identity Theft - How to Protect Yourself

Saturday, March 26, 2005
By the time you finish reading this eye-opening message you will know where to obtain techniques to stop any attacker foolish enough to steal your identity.

Did you know that you are under attack every day of the year by identity thieves? If you have anything of value that you have worked hard for...these shadowing figures will try every trick in their bag of dirty tricks to obtain it from you!

Let me ask you a question.

Would you go absolutely stark-raving mad if someone broke into your home...unannounced...and robbed you of the most valuable possession you own?

Who wouldn't answer YES to a question like this?

Brad Henson knows how it feels. He was in that situation. His identity was stolen...and by someone close to him. He felt betrayed, hurt, and angry. He also felt in denial. Brad couldn't believe that someone who he never dreamed would hurt him that way...did.

Brad discovered how to never have those feelings occur again. He spent literally hundreds of hours researching, talking, and listening to people who had been placed in the same situation that he was placed in...and the end result is his website on Identity theft protection.

Brad was blown away by what happened to these people. Folks just like you and I. According to the FBI, over 700,000 people have had their identities stolen this year.

Imagine living their HORROR stories!

Ohio: Trial opens today in a very bizarre case of attempted murder against Tonica Jenkins and her cousin Kyle Martin. The pair snatched Melissa Latham off the streets with the intent of killing her, burning her body and then having Tonica assume her identity. The pair went to great lengths - even taking the victim to the dentist to have x-rays taken. As we all know, dental records are one of the major ways to identity a burned body if the facial features or fingerprints are not available. The attempt failed when the victim, now 29, escaped unharmed.

Social Security card stolen
A man had his social security number stolen, and the id crook used the number to get employment as one of the new Transportation and Safety Administration (TSA) airport security officers.

10 years of heartache and grief
A business owner had his identity stolen over 10 years ago, and it took years to get his life back in order. It was a nightmare for him and his girlfriend (soon to be married at the time) to purchase a house. I am happy to say that they were finally able to get the house of their dreams, but not until they had to fight the credit card companies to clean up their credit...because of what an id thief stole from them - their good name and reputation.

Personal checks stolen
A Security officer had his checks stolen, and now is reeling in the aftermath - attempting to recover from the personal invasion.

ID theft ring caught milking the elderly
3 men were caught in a local Motel executing a devious plan to milk money out of the elderly. The group was eventually captured with the cooperation of a task force, consisting of the local town police and the United States Postal Inspectors.

Common household chemicals used in Id theft scheme
One town in Southern California has seen a rash of checks being stolen from the unsuspecting - then, by using common household chemicals, the id thieves would "Acid-wash" the checks. Once the checks were dry, the thugs would write new amounts, change the pay-to-the-order-of information, cash them, and be gone into the night.

Restaurant's secret recipt ingredients stolen by Dumpster Divers
A not-yet-opened eating establishment in our local town was getting ready to do their grand opening in a few months. While eating at a nearby resturant that has been in the area since 1989, the manager indicated his kitchen staff had found "the competition" rummaging through their trash dumpster. When confronted, the "corporate spies" from across the street admitted they were there to look for receipts indidicating what vendors and food suppliers the established eatery had been using all these years.

Vacationer blocked from withdrawing funds from ATM
While vacationing in Southern California over the holidays, a man attempted to withdraw money from his bank's branch office local ATM machine near his hotel. The digital readout indicated that no funds were to be available, and stated he needed to see the manager inside the branch. Once inside the bank, the manager said that someone else's account information was attached to his account, and that the bank would not be able to give him his requested funds. The manager stated that only "his" branch could remedy the situtation. The vacationer was helpless...until he returned home.

So, why DID Brad Henson write this book?

His desire is that this book will completely transform how you think, act, and behave in regards to protecting your privacy - by giving you the tools needed to protect your good name against these who lurk in the shadows waiting to steal it.
