Hillary Clinton would make an excellent President and, IMHO, we desperately need a President like her right now. However, I do not think this country will be able to elect her in 2008. By then, the fundamentalists who are the power behinnd the throne now will have so firmly entrenched themsleves and so curtailed our freedoms that it will take a major miracle to unseat them. My concern is not who will be elected in 2008 but rather will we survive as a democracy until then or will be the theocracy I fear we are becoming.
