This is part of a conversation I had with Denise Palmer, who has the experience and knowledge to help those that may be struggling with their MLM business. You'll hear AND feel the PASSION of her responses as you read & consider what YOUR options are. I hope you enjoy and learn. Phillip: Denise, do you currently & completely (finacially) support yourself with your mlm and genealogy efforts (http://www.genealogysuccessteam.com) ?

I was looking into the biller system of calling genealogy report leads and have wondered HOW MANY times these poor people must be called!
I have seen where the DNC is not valid here since it can be considered a "business to business" call and some other technicalities. But this is info I got from a lead seller.
Tracy, your name came up as a source for my name on a lead list as someone interested in a MLM opportunity.
I'm not sure how you got my name and phone number but I get at least 3 or 4 calls a week and 6 to 10 spam e-mails a day from people with the greatest thing since sliced bread.
I finally found one person who admitted where my name came from.
Please be advised that if I continue to be bothered, I am on "Do Not Call" lists and capture the numbers of the innocent naive people who violate this and I do know Can-Spam, I am going to start turning people in.
How do I get my name out of your system?
Since you do not care about these issues, I, obviously will not post my info here, but will check here to find out how to contact you for removal.

I remember the old days in network marketing, where new companies would pop-up, recruiting anyone that had a pulse and could leave a 'dot' on the mirror when held under their nose ... it was considered a bonus if you got two dots (just kidding). They promised "Don't worry ... we'll build your downline for you. At first glance, or hearing, that sounds good .. less stress and work for the new recruit. However, it seems to promote two different thoughts for me. First, If you're going to do it for me, what in the world do you need me for? And, are you going to put like minded people in my downline? Isn't this a guaranteed way to build a 'dead leg'?

Good article Phillip! I'll continue along with Dane's comment. I really think you should continue along this line some more. There's so much to be said on this subject about the reality of building an online business (or offline). Network Marketing can be a viable business for some folks, the problem is.. most folks getting involved still have an employee mindset. Treat an MLM like a real business, and it may very well perform like one for you. Setting goals, performance measurements, etc... sounds like a business plan to me.
Hi Dane,
Thanks for the heads up :)
The article is now complete ... not quite sure WHAT happened, but it's done now :)
Phillip
Were you planing on developing this thought any further?
