Hits are ONLY a part of sales success.

Part 5

They get visitors to view your offer. That is something we ALL need.

Even when you take proactive steps to Improve your conversion
rate, you must look at the total picture.

** Be sure you reduce the number of clicks to your desired
action..too many ruin the sale.

** Investigate and Identify any drop-off spots and get rid
of them.

**Identify detours and bottlenecks in order to improve
traffic flow.

** Study your Conversion Rate: Do you have any idea what
percentage of your visitors are being converted? Keep
looking for good sources that will assist you in converting
visitors. ( yes, that Trusted Traffic Master, again )

There are many ways to generate TRAFFIC to your website

Wednesday, May 19, 2004

There are many ways to generate TRAFFIC to your website.

Part 4

Will they all create sales? NOT on your life. A fine tuned,
PPC advertising campaign with optimized search terms, can
bring you website visitors at an acquisition cost of
pennies-per-click. Are sales guaranteed? I suggest you look
around and find your answer to this question! You also must
understand precisely how this works.

Once visitors are on your website, great navigation is an
absolute necessity to ensure that the traffic you worked so
very hard to get to your website, will also find what they
want, if you have it.

Do you have any idea of just how many clicks stand between
your site visitors and the outcome that you desire, which
is making sales? There are very obvious drop-off points
between adding-items-to-the-cart and actually checking out?

Drop-off points commonly called abandonment points are spots
where visitors just leave your site. In some cases getting
rid of a click, leak, or drop-off spot might lead to a
substantial increase in your conversion rate. Your remedy
is to determine if there could be some trend which can be
identified when these incomplete sales take place.
Bottlenecks and detour spots must be fixed because this can
shorten the path to desired actions, that lead to website
sales!

Conversion Rates --->> Hits to Sales

Part 3

Your website conversion rate should tell you how many of
your visitors are being converted from visitors into
personal clients, customers, leads, or subscribers. If you
do not currently have this capability, research free
webmaster tools and you will be able to locate some very
decent places, even free !

Your website text, navigation and a lot of other things
determine whether or not you're doing a proper sales job.
You can't blame traffic hits if you lose visitors, without
making a sale. Hits are NOT sales. Hits are usually and
casually referred to as visitors. The Traffic Master's job
is to deliver visitors..."not" make sales for you. Many
people believe they will make a lot of sales with just
visitors.

Website Traffic Can Help Build Your Business!

Part 2

Like an offline Brick-and-Mortar business, all websites need
careful orchestration to ensure a symphonic-commercial
success. Your content management decisions should always be
based on web metrics, not your personal guesswork.

Sales Come from Buyers --Right?

You NEED website visitors if you run your e-business from a
website. Setting reasonable and measurable business goals as
well as monitoring progress, can really help you to build a
website that can generate revenue. Visitors do go to the
site but you can also find a trusted traffic master to
orchestrate a quality traffic campaign, to direct all kinds
of visitors to your website. Properly done, especially
with "Contextual Traffic," you can have a great cost
efficient campaign running almost all the time.
