Begun, The Browser Wars Have
By Daniel Robson

As Mozilla Firefox nears 10% market share, with well over 25 million downloads direct from the makers website, and goodness knows how many through other sources, Microsoft announces that it will be releasing IE 7 ahead of schedule.

Good article Joe. I sure am glad I have
you to keep me in the know! I myself use
Firefox and appreciate the tabbing and
search bar plus more. I know I haven't
used it to it's full potential either.

Get Your Money For Nothing

You've probably heard them all. You know, the "make $1,000
while you sleep without doing a lick of work" BS pitches.
Well, let me tell you, it doesn't happen that way.

Do Talking Websites Generate More Sales?
Copyright 2004 John Weisenberger

Ever since I listened to the Andy Jenkins audio interview
of Brad Fallon (the million dollar "wedding favors" Website
owner that I wrote about in my last article) I've been
pondering the question of whether or not adding audio
content to my RomanceBiz.com website would help me increase
my sales.

Hi Joe,
Great article and I have to agree, though audio may not profoundly increase sales from your site, every little bit helps. I myself am a person who likes to hear the voice of the person talking to me, as the emphasis they put on their text may be totally different than what I may put on it which may give it different meaning.

PartVI "Email In The Crosshairs: Felony Fines and Jail Time!"

PartVI "Email In The Crosshairs: Felony Fines and Jail Time!"

Well, as promised, we'll summarize some of the benefits of
publishing using Q channels. But first, let's touch on a
remark made in Part V, namely:

Every day, more...

Every day, more and more gurus are seeing the benefits and
making the transition from email before it's too late. It's
also pretty clear that the advice they're all giving is more to
their benefit than yours.

Maybe I was a little too optimistic. Other than an article
by Corey Rudl and one by Shelly Lowery, there wasn't much
to read regarding RSS feeds. James Maduk has a nice piece
on his site about blogs, but goes on to point out that [Read More!]

Everyone who has been on the internet for any lenght of time,

PART III "Email In The Crosshairs: Felony Fines and Jail Time!"
by Larry Umlor Optin-Listbuilders

Imagine you have just finished putting together a terrific offer. It's
so powerful, the deal so good, that you would buy it on the spot.
But, before you release it to the public you want all of your opt-in
subscribers and affiliate members to get first crack at a special...
you figure it's only fair to them, right?

In PART III of "Email In The Crosshairs: Felony Fines and Jail Time!"
we'll look at some of the actions already being taken and how you can
avoid fines, felonies and jail time, implementing a simple, cost free
solution that no one wants you to know about.

Well, now imagine you just cleaned your list of dead...

PART II "Email In The Crosshairs: Felony Fines and Jail Time!"
by Larry Umlor Optin-Listbuilders.com

"STOP being a creature of habit!"

Remember in the opening quote in PART I we said "you have
to be willing to step out of your comfort zone?" If you
don't do it now, then you might as well pick a guru, any
guru, and mail them your wallet, credit cards and bank
account number.

They're going to keep milking you until there's nothing
left anyway.

At least this way you can save yourself the aggravation.
Why put yourself through the hell...

Why put yourself through the hell of being nickel and dimed
to death? Why keep holding on to the illusion that all the
things that haven't worked before will somehow work now
because "some guru said?" Just send it all to them and be
done with it.

Or you could step out of that dead-end comfort zone and
beat them at their own game for once.

In PART II of "Email In The Crosshairs: Felony Fines and Jail Time!"
we go into more detail about the problems email marketers
face now and new problems they'll be facing in the very near
future.

Let's look at the three main problems you face with email
marketing: [Read More!]

PART I "Email In The Crosshairs: Felony Fines and Jail Time!"
by Larry Umlor Optin-Listbuilders

It has been said we have very few limits except the ones
that we set for ourselves. And those out of fear from the
past. Letting your past control your present is a sure
formula for failure. The surest path to growth is simply to
grow. First, you have to be willing to step out of your
comfort zone!

The surest sign that you are on a self-destructive path is
if you keep holding on when every sign tells you to "let go."

Have you noticed over the past year [especially the past few
weeks] that email is taking a terrible beating?

Guru after guru has sent out the same warnings about FTC... [Read More!]

The Community Advantage

Friday, April 16, 2004
There's a lot to be said for working with a group of like-mind, enterprising people who are not only concerned about the lack of response from their own readers but are conscientious about the risk and frustration utilizing email as a delivery method today.

The Community Advantage
by Lois M. Jeary, March 2004

If you've been working online for any length of time, you already know that it's pretty tough trying to 'do' everything by yourself. Without the assistance and guidance of fellow publishers and mentors, you would not come as far as you have in your business.

The right software can also eliminate some of the workload, but it's the people we come into to contact with and the relationships we build that are vital to our success.

Is There Nothing Sacred?

More and more, I am extremely satisfied with my decision to stop email publishing. Every day, email sinks deeper and deeper into a guagmire of deception. In reality 97% of all the email I receive is crap.

Sometimes It Is Good To Give Up

Wednesday, April 14, 2004
I Gave Up It Up For Lent...

Having been raised by a Catholic mother, I am accustomed to the sacrificial requirement of Lent. Everyone must give up something for Lent; some vice they could do better without. I remember thinking, as a child often does, that if you gave up something every year of your life, you would most certainly die with nothing. Later, it occured to me that adults seemed to give up the same thing, year after year. One of my relatives was always giving up smoking for Lent. Considering that no one ever asked me to give up anything, I figured that Lent was just for grown-ups.
