We had a local radio station promoting a 'singles night out' at a local Kroger grocery store. There were some preplanned activities, some samples of cheese and small samples of wine.

I know the title is a fairly broad subject, and could be covered in nearly every aspect of life. On August 18th, 2003, my son Charles was involved in a serious accident involving a tractor trailer. While this may seem too late to write about, it's surprising to me how the legal system and those that partcipate, seem to think. From what I've been told, the accident happened around a construction zone ... they were working on the two lane, re-topping it. The tractor trailer was behind another vehicle, most likely, following too close. When the car in front of him slowed down for the construction, the driver of the tractor trailer hit the brakes hard, crossed center, and hit the oncoming car head-on. Hi Phil,
For some reason, I had a feeling that this was your story even before the page loaded... I'm very much for adoption and do think it's one of the most loving choices any human being can make. I've been blessed with two beautiful boys, yet at one point in our lives, my husband and I thought seriously about adopting a little girl. Some circumstances beyond our control changed our lives, so we never had a chance to pursue this dream. I'm sharing this with you because I truly admire people who adopt. It's a decision that only comes from true unconditional love. Congratulations! Enjoy Gabi, and your wife. Thank you much for sharing! God Bless...
Hi Phillip,
You were destined to be a dad! How blessed Gabi is to have you both for parents. May God continue to bless you and your family.
Hi Phillip:
I really enjoyed reading about Gabi. May God bless him and your entire family!
Phillip,
That brought tears to the eyes of this old crusty cynic. May your home always be one filled with love and joy.
Hi Phillip,
That's a wonderful story and thank you for sharing. The best gift is being able to give of ourselves. All the best to you and your family.
Have a great day.
