Another bug was floating around on the social networking site Facebook this morning. It was not like the recent bug Koobface. This time it comes in messages titled “Hello,” and leads to sites with names like 151.im and 121.im.
When you click on the link you will find a near-exact replica of the Facebook log in page. You are prompted for your log in name and password. Once you type those in and click to log in, you are hooked by the phisherman.
As many people know, the Conficker worm (a very nasty one) got released on November 21st, 2008. According to the OpenDNS team, 5% of the PCs in the US are infected, and that number goes as high as 13% in Vietnam.
The Confiker Virus is suppose to strike on April Fools Day. But security experts are not sure whether the virus will wreak havoc on Wednesday or quietly pass by.
On midnight April 1st, the Conficker program will start scanning thousands of websites for a new set of instructions telling it what to do next.

Koobface, a Facebook worm, takes over computers by spreading though the social network. Facebook Worm 2.0 tricks you into following a link to a video of someone you know. Once you open the link, you are told to download an update your video player.
Facebook Worm 2.0 works like its predecessor, Koobface, except it has a new look that may not be as easily detected.
