How far does the right to free speech extend?
Can you yell “fire” in a crowded theater?
Can you stand on a street corner and stir up a mob to lynch someone?

Can materials be distributed in mosques that call for Jihad against Americans and incite terror and violence?

Can a terrorist organization troll for funding on websites hosted by U.S. Internet providers?

In other words, does speech that creates an imminent threat of danger trump the most basic right we as Americans have – the right to be “safe in our persons”?

In the case of materials found in American mosques that call for Jihad, the ideology of Jihad, clearly enunciated throughout the holy books of Islam, has invariably and undeniably led to acts of Jihad. Fourteen hundred years of history and 270 million dead at the hands of Islamic Jihad document this cause and effect. Jihadist speech has historically led to violence, terror, and death. It is therefore our position that jihadist ideology is speech that poses an imminent threat of danger, a position supported by 1,400 years of history.

Isn’t it time we exercised our right to petition and demand that our Congress examine extremist materials in mosques so that we can have a truly informed public debate on this issue?

America understands we have a problem, but what to do about it?

The just completed national poll mentioned above has birthed The Petition of which this email is about. The poll is the most sophisticated data on how Americans perceive the threat of Islamic Fundamentalism. The results are absolutely staggering. ACT! for America, at considerable cost, has taken the results of this poll and created The Petition. How Islamization Works

Islam is not a religion nor is it a cult. It is a complete system.

Islam has religious, legal, political, economic and military components. The religious component is a beard for all the other components.

Islamization occurs when there are sufficient Muslims in a country to agitate for their so-called "religious rights."

When politically correct and culturally diverse societies agree to "the reasonable" Muslim demands for their "religious rights," they also get the other components under the table. Here's how it works (percentages source CIA: The World Fact Book (2007)).

As long as the Muslim population remains around 1% of any given country they will be regarded as a peace-loving minority and not as a threat to anyone. In fact, they may be featured in articles and films, stereotyped for their colorful uniqueness:

United States -- Muslim 1.0%
Australia -- Muslim 1.5%
Canada -- Muslim 1.9%
China -- Muslim 1%-2%
Italy -- Muslim 1.5%
Norway -- Muslim 1.8%

At 2% and 3% they begin to proselytize from other ethnic minorities and disaffected groups with major recruiting from the jails and among street gangs:

Thailand -- Muslim 4.6%

From 5% on they exercise an inordinate influence in proportion to their percentage of the population.

They will push for the introduction of halal (clean by Islamic standards) food, thereby securing food preparation jobs for Muslims. They will increase pressure on supermarket chains to feature it on their shelves -- along with threats for failure to comply. (United States).

When Muslims reach 10% of the population, they will increase lawlessness as a means of complaint about their conditions (Paris -- car-burnings). Any non-Muslim action that offends Islam will result in uprisings and threats (Amsterdam -- Mohammed cartoons).

After reaching 20% expect hair-trigger rioting, jihad militia formations, sporadic killings and church and synagogue burning:

Thanks for sending out an alert about Obama. We are living and working in Kenya for almost twelve years now and know his family (tribe) well. They are the ones who were behind the recent Presidential election chaos here. Thousands of people have been displaced by election violence (over 350,000) and I don't know the last count of the dead. Obama under "Friends of Obama" gave almost a million dollars to the opposition campaign who just happened to be his cousin, Raila Odinga, who is a socialist trained in East Germany.

He has been trying to bring Kenya down for years and the last president threw him in prison for trying to subvert this country. December 27th elections brought cries from ODM (Odinga Camp) of rigged election. Obama and Raila speak daily. As we watch Obama rise in the US we are sure that whatever happens, he will use the same tactic, crying "rigged election" if he doesn't win and possibly cause a race war in America .

What we would like you to know is why the American press has been keeping a dirty little secret. Obama IS a Muslim and he IS a racist and this is a fulfillment of the 9/11 threat that was just the beginning. Jihad is the only true Muslim way. We have been working with them for 20 years this July! Obama is not an American as we know it. Please encourage your friends and associates not to be taken in by those that are promoting him. Pray for us here in Kenya . We are still fighting for our nation to withstand the same kind of assault that every nation, including America, is fighting. The takeover from the outside to fit the new world order. As believers, this means we will be the first targets. Here in Kenya , not one mosque was burned down, but hundreds of churches were burned down, some with people in them, burned alive. Christians need to take heed.

This is downright stupid! Muslims come to America and dictate what we can not eat! Afraid of offending, pork is removed from the menu. What's next, Christmas? In the United States in 2007, several school districts removed pork products from their cafeteria offerings. Dearborn, Mich., schools banned pork completely to avoid the possibility that Muslims students might unknowingly eat it. The district later added special halal foods to its menu to cater to the demands of its Muslim population. An elementary school in San Diego that offers Arabic, single-gender classes and Muslim-only organized prayer, no longer offers pork to any of its students. And in Oak Lawn, Ill., where the administration is debating elimination of Christmas holiday celebrations, pork has already been banished from the school lunchroom. Wise up America - they're coming after YOU!!

Cooking the Books to Mask the Number of Islamic Radicals - In a stunning illustration of how apologists for militant Islam flat-out distort the truth, Robert Satloff writes in the Weekly Standard how John Esposito and Dalia Mogahed “cooked the books” to make their own data appear to show there were only a small percentage of “radical” Muslims worldwide.

Esposito and Mogahed make the claim that only 7% of Muslims worldwide are “radical.” That amounts to about 91 million Muslims. No small number.

But a closer examination of their data reveal that the number of those who are “radical” is actually at least twice that many, and more likely three to four times that many – or between 300 million and 480 million Muslims worldwide!

Harvard Law School professor Noah Feldman touched off a fierce debate when he recently wrote in The New York Times Magazine that Islamic Sharia law represents the highest state of “the rule of law.” But what many of Feldman’s critics did not recognize is that his argument has been building over several years.

Just as an old photographic print slowly becomes visible when immersed in developing solution, Noah’s claims about the alleged virtues of Sharia first surfaced in his 2005 book, Divided by God written when he was still a professor at NYU. Three years later, Feldman, who helped draft the Iraqi constitution, has turned his argument into a new book, called The Fall and Rise of the Islamic State. The book marks Feldman’s emergence as a leading academic advocate for Sharia law.

From Act For America today

For years, Great Britain and other countries of Western Europe have bent over backwards to accommodate the growing Muslim population within their borders. It has been nearly an “article of faith” that multicultural tolerance of Muslims, even militant Muslims, would promote peace and inter-faith dialogue, and diminish the possibility of terrorist attacks.

That “article of faith” is proving to be an illusion.

Over a year ago, Britain’s Daily Mail ran an article entitled “Multiculturalism drives young Muslims to shun British values.” The article noted that a study had found that “Multiculturalism has alienated an entire generation of young Muslims and made them increasingly radical…In stark contrast with their parents, growing numbers sympathize with extreme teachings of Islam, with almost four in ten wanting to live under Sharia law in Britain…13% said they `admired’ organizations such as al Qaida…”

Then last December, Germany’s Der Spiegel ran an article about Muslims in Germany entitled “Interior Ministry warns of radicalization of Muslims.”

Any student of history and the doctrines of Islam understands why this is the case. What we in the West regard as a high virtue (tolerance and accommodation) Islam regards as weakness and an implicit if not explicit acknowledgement that Islam is superior and we are inferior. The harder the West tries to accommodate Islam, the more it is seen by Muslims as weak and inferior.

This is why, in spite of everything Great Britain has done to accommodate Islam, to the point of the Archbishop of Canterbury stating that the imposition of shariah law in Britain is “unavoidable,” Islamic militancy in Britain grows and the threat of terror increases. Contrary to the hopes and best intentions of those seeking to accommodate Islam, the reality is proving an axiom the West in general and America in particular must come to acknowledge: The tolerance of Islamic intolerance will simply promote more Islamic intolerance.

Seeking to flip a Republican Senate seat, the Muslim American Society used Boy and Girl Scout troops last year as part of a massive get-out-the-vote campaign targeting Muslim voters in Virginia and elsewhere.

National leaders at the Boy and Girl Scouts of America say they've never heard of using Scout troops in such political activity and it violates Scout policy. They promised to look into the MAS program.

MAS Executive Director Mahdi Bray isn't keeping the fact that he tapped Scouts to run phone banks a secret. In fact, he's bragging about it. And while he claims the calls were non-partisan, he also is comfortable saying "Democrats would be a better choice" for his constituency.

In Virginia, incumbent George Allen was struggling to hold onto his Senate seat against former Navy Secretary Jim Webb. "We delivered 80 percent of the eligible voting Muslims to the polls," Bray said in July at an Islamic Circle of North America-Muslim American Society convention in Hartford, Conn. "48,000 Muslims voted in Virginia. 93 percent of them voted for Webb, seven percent voted for Allen. Webb won by a slim margin of 9,000 votes. Now I don't care how you slice it, dice it and I don't care whether you are a mathematician or not, you can figure this out, that if 48,000 Muslims voted and 90 percent of them voted for the successful candidate, then certainly, and he only won by a 9,000 vote margin – we made a difference."

Sharia-Compliant Financing - Any financial institution that agrees to participate in such financing is facing the prospect of having to divert 2.5% to as much as 6% of its profits to Muslim charities. So what’s wrong with such “philanthropy?”

Over the past several years, three major Muslim charities in America have been shut down after investigations revealed they were funneling charitable contributions to terrorist organizations. How many more around the world are doing the same thing?

In other words, with sharia-compliant financing we might as well be taking a portion of our interest, dividends, and capital gains, and handing that money directly to terrorists.

Vladimir Lenin once noted that “the capitalists will sell us the rope with which we will hang them.” Sharia-compliant financing goes one better than that – we simply give them the money to hang us.

How to stop it? Education is necessary – but not sufficient. It will take substantial, organized, grassroots pressure. A few years ago, Bank of America let it be known it was going to actively market its products to illegal immigrants, which the bank saw as an untapped market. A fierce grassroots outcry followed, and to its credit Bank of America listened and scrapped its plan.

As the ACT! for America membership and chapter network grows, we will be able to exert the level of informed, organized opposition to sharia-compliant financing that will send a clear message to financial institutions looking to cash in on the oil wealth of the Middle East: Not with our investment dollars.

This is one reason why you hear us say frequently that rolling back the tide of Islamofascism is going to take organized, informed action by a large grassroots citizen action network. Imagine a boycott by 1,000,000 ACT! for America members of a major American bank that has immersed itself in sharia-compliant financing. They’ll get the message. For as the saying goes, “if they won’t see the light, they need to feel the heat.”

Does anyone out there have a clue why the college kids - who are mostly far left protesters - back and protest for Islamo-Fascism? I guess it's the same reason they backed and protested for Vietnam. Little do they know (they aren't old enough) that today's terrorists are even more deadly than the enemies of old.

This week marks our second Islamo-Fascism Awareness Week with events planned on over 105 college campuses across the country. Islamo Fascism Awareness Week is an effort to bring the truth into the suffocating ideological bias of our universities. It comes as no surprise that the radical left is organizing to stop our speakers. This is what happened last fall when they shut down my speech at Emory, threatened former Muslim Nonie Darwish at Berkeley, and disrupted several of our speakers.

They want to kill this event because they knew know that awareness about Islamo Fascism means the end of their political monopoly on campus and the beginning of a student movement that honors and supports our country. Because of this threat, we are once again forced to pay for extra security to ensure our speakers' safety. So, what happened to freedom of speech on campus? Oh, that's right, it's only for lefties.

Pretty sad and very normal, isn't it?
