Why we developed QuikView, our in-browser channel viewer
An in-browser viewer is convenient and easy to use for everyone on any type of computer, web-access device or operating system. This type of viewer does not require the download of any programs or applications to view
Q Channels. With
QuikView, subscribers have the option to view their personal channel subscriptions from any computer which has a web browser installed, they are not tied to any one machine, browser or operating system.
QuikView is available for most major browsers and can deliver full media-rich channels. Subscribers will see and hear everything their publishers have to offer, with no ISP interference, no stripped files or tags. Channels are easy to add or delete with a couple of mouse clicks. Because
QuikView is password-protected, no one can gain access to your channels and bookmarks without your knowledge or permission. So you are in complete control of the information you choose to receive.
An added benefit of
QuikView is that is also functions as a personal bookmark server, which means that any bookmark links added to your
QuikView are available from any computer on any platform with any major browser. No more worries about whether that bookmark you need is on the machine at home, at the office or at school. Just login in to your
QuikView, and there they are, ready to click.
We reviewed a number of different browser-based readers but found that none of them met the specifications which we felt were essential to offer an optimum channel viewing experience to our subscribers. So, the logical solution was to develop an in-browser channel viewer with the features which we think are the most desirable.
QuikView is the result. We hope you enjoy using it.
