Have you checked your inbox lately? How much of that incoming stuff is something you actually asked for? If our inboxes are any indication -- not much!
As a business owner and/or ezine publisher your inbox has probably become a nightmare. Your subscribers are very likely in the same boat. Spammers have become so crafty and callous that it's become horrendous trying to set up rules and filters in your mail program. Many of today's so-called spam eliminators will make your subscribers jump through hoops to stay on your list. They make you jump through hoops too, just to create acceptable lists.
The biggest benefit of having your own Q Channel is that you are in control of your channel and your subscribers are in control of their subscription. With your own Q Channel you can keep your subscribers up-to-date on the "latest and greatest" and it is available to them immediately, unaltered. No ISP interference.
Just think of the list maintenance tasks you won't have to do anymore. You will have more time to do what you are really good at, gathering information and publishing it for your folks. And, with a channel, you won't have to wait to publish on a set schedule. If you have vital information you want to communicate to your subscribers, just post the item to your channel, and they will have it instantly. All the information you publish for your subscribers will get to them immediately, as long as they are subscribed to your channel.
You and your subscribers both win!
Your Q Channel provides your subscribers with easy ways to reach you that are virtually instantaneous. They can comment on your ezine or a product you offer - even answer a survey - right from their desktop, in the channel!
How many times have you asked for feedback and been disappointed by the results? It's not intentional for most people. Your subscriber elects to finish reading the ezine first; then go back to respond. Between interruptions by the demands of daily life, they may forget or they may have accidentally deleted your message. Now they won't need to remember to go back, hope they kept the message, find the link, - it's all done right away, from your channel, and you will be able to view the comments immediately, and respond back with no worries about filters or having the correct e-mail address.
You will have a private QMTP Messenger sytem, a live, open Q Chat and links to any of your IM systems, right in your channel, so you can communicate directly with your subscribers. No e-mail needed, no dependence on the mercy of ISPs, SPEWS, or any other anagramatic spam vigilante. Just direct, immediate, reliable communication.
How's that for interaction!
I know who receives my ezine because I have their e-mail addresses. How will I know if anyone is seeing my information if I switch to a channel?
Actually, with your Q Channel you will have more relevant information than you ever had in e-mail, WITHOUT THE WORK!
You will not only know how many unique subscribers you have, you will know how many times they access your channel. Even better, you will see whether they click through your channel items and access your channel page or go through to your own website! Now you will know the number of subscribers, open rate and click-thru rates without needing additional tracking utilities. It is all part of the Quikonnex system package.
Having your own Q Channel puts the F-U-N back into publishing. You are completely in control of what goes through your channel. And, freed of the burden of e-mail publishing, you can get back to doing what you really care about, delivering quality content to your subscribers.
You are 100% in charge. You determine the content and the frequency of publication -- it's all up to you, without the numerous, mind-numbingly repetitive and mundane tasks related to traditional e-mail publishing. And then there is always the concern in the back of your mind that someone either accidentally or maliciously will accuse you of spam, even though you are a legitimate publisher who hates spam, too. Because Q Channels are direct-to-desktop communication, there is no email involved, and thus you cannot be accused of spamming. Your subscribers "pull" it, you don't "push" it.
Imagine an interactive publishing process that is ...
simple to set up
easy to manage from your own desktop
subscriber friendly, invites reader feedback
media-rich
economical
efficient
FUN (let's not forget that)
automatically updated
Q channels are all of that and more
To really understand, you have to experience "channeling."
The primary way I get new subscribers is by current subscribers sharing my ezine or newsletter. Can my subscribers share my free Q Channels as they share my free ezines?
Absolutely, sharing your channels is as easy as sending them to your special subscriber pages. These pages will step them through the subscription process in our easy 1-2-3 manner and, if your subscribers become members, they can send your page to their friends with their affiliate ID added to our special URLs and they will get credit for any sales as a result.
All members of Quikonnex are also encouraged to publicize your Q Channel subscriber pages. If you produce great content, you will get loads of new subscribers and they will get new members/affiliates to help them sell our services. It's a real WIN-WIN opportunity!
Viral, referral and cross promotional marketing all packaged into one Q-Deal!
There is no requirement to have a web site in order to publish through a channel. We do highly recommend that you archive your channel content to your own server for backup. Your Q Channel is a conduit -- an information delivery system -- rather than a substitute for a web site.
Webspace and a web site are two different things. A web site is generally thought of as having a face or a homepage and most folks still think of web sites as brochureware. With a Q Channel you may not need a fully-navigable web site, with a homepage, etc. but might want, instead, to think of your domain as webspace, to house individual pages, channel content archives, graphics, etc. Think of your Q Channel as your storefront with an ever-changing window display or as your information courier service.
Your Q Channel is your information pipeline, so it is always changing,
unlike a web site, which is fairly static.
Yes, YOU do! The owner of the Q Channel is the only one who can add items, edit content, move stuff around or delete it. Q Administration does have access to your information, if needed, for support purposes only. We do not survey the contents of anyone's channel, except as subscribers ourselves.
You will also have the choice to add other Quikonnex members as co-Publishers to your Q Channels. This status will allow them to post, edit and delete items in your channel. But they can only edit and delete the items they have posted, not anything you have posted. They will have access to QMTP, so they can help you manage your messages and make sure everyone receives a timely response.
If you publish an ezine for a lot of folks who subscribe because they know your reputation and trust the information you provide, or if you have important information you wish to share with staff or colleagues, rest assured that no one can make changes in the content of your channel but you and any co-Publishers which you assign. Your channel belongs to you.
Absolutely NOT!!! Your subscribers just subscribe to your channel with QuikView or DeskView 2G and it's done. Now they are in charge of their subscription. If they don't want to stay subscribed, they just delete your channel from their channel viewer. It is the ultimate opt-in!
E-mail list maintenance will be a thing of the past. No more figuring out double/single opt-ins/opt-outs, HABEAS headers, handling bounces, unsubscribe requests from unrecognizable email addresses, false spam accusations, or subscribers that spam you! No more will you have to worry about prank subscriptions or subscribers that think it's easier to report you for spam versus following your unsubscribe instructions. Nor do you have to worry about getting shut down or filtered through no fault of your own just because your domain's IP address has a few numbers that match some spammer's IP.
Why do you think all the email software is being sold? You better believe the big guys know exactly what's going to happen with pull technololgy.
Email publishing is dead, the wake is over and it's time for a big change!
No way! Our in-browser channel viewer, QuikView, does not require the download of any files, is cross-platform and compatible with most major browsers. Our desktop channel viewer, DeskView 2G has no hidden files, adware or spyware, and its a small less than 2MB download. With either viewer, in minutes your subscribers will have your channel set up and be reading your articles. Pull technology means you make the information available, the subscribers request the channels they want through their channel viewer, and RSS/XML delivers the goods directly to their desktop.
Can't spell RSS or XML? Don't worry, the Qs can. They bring these technologies together and make it possible for you manage your Q Channel from your web browser, no special software needed, with a full graphic interface. Just login, add your new items, click submit, instantly, all of your subscribers have your message. No anagrams, no muss, no fuss, no waiting, NO SPAM!!!
Quikonnex is a safe, simple, straight-forward and easy-to-use system, providing immediate delivery of your information to your subscriber's desktop.
You are in control and your computer is safe.
Q Channel Publishers pay a small fee of $30.00 per month, which covers everything the publisher needs to keep their channel up and running, plus live channel statistics, ad-tracking capabilities, and our QMTP private messaging system. Quikonnex offers publisher support in a variety of formats - open online chat, private online help, not to mention forums, training videos, and regular free online Publisher's Workshops.
There is no charge for people to subscribe to your channel. They simply grab a bookmark for QuikView or download and install our free, customized channel viewer - DeskView 2G. And don't worry, your subscribers just follow the easy step-by-step process to subscribe. It only takes a few moments and it's completely safe. There's no sleazy adware or spyware stuff, and it's SPAM PROOF! Plus, as an additional service to our publishers, all subscribers are provided with the Qsupport channel, which will provide all the support they need to subscribe to your channel and stay connected to you.
