Something to think about.... I don't know anyone who couldn't use a little personal development training in their life wether they are in "Shaklee" or not. I personally know folks who join just to help with their own mindset and get healthy. Gosh in today's economy who couldn't use a little help with their mindset.
Health: 1. Drink plenty of water. 2. Eat breakfast like a king, lunch like a prince and dinner like a beggar. 3. Eat more foods that grow on trees and plants and eat less food that is manufactured in plants.. 4. Live with the 3 E's -- Energy, Enthusiasm and Empathy 5. Make time to pray. 6. Play more games 7. Read more books than you did in 2009 . 8. Sit in silence for at least 10 minutes each day 9. Sleep for 7 hours. 10. Take a 10-30 minutes walk daily. And while you walk, smile.
Personality: 11. Don't compare your life to others. You have no idea what their journey is all about. 12. Don't have negative thoughts or things you cannot control. Instead invest your energy in the positive present moment. 13. Don't over do. Keep your limits. 14. Don't take yourself so seriously. No one else does. 15. Don't waste your precious energy on gossip. 16. Dream more while you are awake 17. Envy is a waste of time. You already have all you need.. 18. Forget issues of the past. We are blessed to be living in the time when more people are finding it advantages to have a home business. Most often that means some type of computer work, and with that it is easy to develop habits that are not so good for our body. I remind myself that comfortable income is not worth squat if I let my body go downhill. Did you know more LNI claims are from computer injuries than anything else now. So listen up!
Here are a few quick tips:
Make sure your workstation for your home business is suited for your body. A Google Search on ergonomics for PC will bring you a wealth of information on how to set up the chair, desk, etc. For example: Screen should be tilted back about 10% to 20% and placed 20 to 40 inches from your eyes. Lean monitor back slightly and adjust for glare. Your back should be straight and shoulders comfortable, wrists at a flat level. Your window should be at the side of the computer, not above or behind. Fix the table at 25 to 29 inches high. Wrists flat and support for your arms, NO twisting or leaning to reach for things, especially if repetitive. There are many more specifics available when you Google search for PC ergonomics.
Now that is just for how to sit. But sitting can be what we who work a computer in a home business do a wee bit too much of. Get a couple of times, actually I use three. I have an old fashioned kitchen timer that turns the dial up to one hour. I labeled it STRETCH and I give it a spin up to one hour, although 1/2 hour is better. When it goes off, I reset for another hour and stand up, do some slow stretches, a few yoga positions remembering my shoulders and neck. Touch those old toes and then back to work. The second timer is labeled DRINK to remind me to eat (healthy not junk) and drink fluids (water, tea, juices, etc.), it is so easy to not take good care of myself when I get engrossed with a project – easy to stick my head up, see it is 2:30 pm and realize I’ve not gotten out of my chair or had breakfast or fluids. NOT a good long term plan. Nutritional Care is critical as it fuels the body but also keeps the mind sharp.
A Home Business is great; the 2 minute commute to anywhere in my home. Love it but I can forget when the next conference call, webcast or some task needs done so I use a 3rd time and label it TO DO? These three trainers have really helped me. I always keep my water bottle there at the computer and have made a point of not turning into a coffee hound. A little dish of almonds and pumpkin seeds for my brain and I’m good to go. Drop the sweets and coffee if you want your mind at peak performance.
If I had to say the two most important points for me has been get up and move, strech, walk around,step outside, chase puppy or husband, which ever is closer and DRINK lots of water.
My home business really works for me and has for 20+ years. I hope it does for you too.

For example: meditation, prayer, contemplation, journaling your blessings and your feelings, yoga or some form of exercise. I don’t think I know a truly successful person that doesn’t take care of the inner self.
Nutrition becomes essential. Let go of the survival on coffee to just keep going and the sugar rush, fast foods and eating over your key board. Sit down and take breaks to enjoy your meals. Weather permitting, get outside and have your lunch break. A sound diet of real foods, well prepared and supplemented with natural vitamins and supplements will help to keep your health strong.

#1 Know Your Reason
The reasons for starting an online home based business, is as many as the stars in the sky? What is yours? Do you want more freedom to control your own life and work? How much does security come into the picture? Is making extra income or a second income important to you? Do you want to be at home, and yet have flexibility? So many questions and so many really good reasons to start your online home business. But know what yours are if you want to get off to a good start!
#2 Work with Your Passion
What is it that gets your juices running? What do you like to talk about, read or research on and what do you feel is important enough to share? When you get together with friends what topics do you find yourself drawn to? If you start an online home based business but it is not in an area that really excites you, your odds of sticking with it are quite reduced. It is easy to go cold when you have no vested interest in it.
#3 Do Thorough Research
Look fully into any company or person you are considering working with. Common questions need to include their background in history of company and products, what is the market demand for the products or services, pay scale, 100% guarantee, training program and support offered, what does the job look like to be successful AT YOUR GOAL, not the goal of your up line. Do they have solid business plans in place to help you achieve your objectives and are they easy and comfortable to talk with. I have to confess that I am a Internet junkie! And thankfully, that is just about my only vice because it would not behoove me to own an online home business as a Shaklee Independent Distributor and not have really good healthy habits! I do and that is what makes me a really good business coach. But I am going to go way out on a limb here and speak my mind! The arena of network marketing your business on the Internet is growing so fast it makes my head spin. And just like most things that have real success, one has to be really careful about who you 'play in the sandbox with', so to speak! You will meet some outstanding individuals on the Internet with a wide variety of business offers and programs to help you grow your business. In my opinion, most are really good and lots more Not So Helpful.
You will soon come to know that I always write from my heart! And by now you may also realize that I just say what is on my mind and tell folks just exactly like I see it. So here it is....
Be careful! Such tools like Twitter and Facebook are becoming some of the largest tools for Internet marketing socialization. I use them both on a daily basis, and I find amazing people that I have choosen to follow just because they have information that either helps me in my business or they offer such outstanding inspiration that it feeds my purpose each and every day! Please just make sure that the people as well as the company that you want to align yourself with has really good and consumable products if you want to be in the health & wellness field.
