Air Purifier - Clean Air

CLEAN AIR

Aloha from the Big Island of Hawaii!!! I had asthma at a very young age. It is so bad that I had to have a tracheotomy and have the scar as a reminder for it. I nearly lived in the hospital and missed a lot of school. My asthma was bad when the air at home was not clean. So I know how important it is to have clean air in the home. Here are some suggestions in helping your asthma:

  • Do not over exert yourself with physical activities.

  • Get into a daily exercise routine that does not exert your lungs but helps to circulate the blood such as Qigong or Yoga.

  • Use a nasal cleasing pot or neti pot daily to clear out your sinus.

  • Purchase a good air purifier for home and office. Every day the average adult breathes in up to 900 cubic feet of air. And the Environmental Protection Agency states that “since most people spend a majority of their lives indoors, the quality of indoor air is a major area of concern….” In fact, the large surface area of the lungs and the sensitivity of the tissues make them particularly susceptible to air pollution. Pollen, dander, smoke, and mold enter our bodies through our large and vulnerable lungs.

When you are happy and healthy, everyone around you can not help but be happy. My daily routine has been Qigong, energy healing self care, a good diet, and being in the moment as much as I can. Put them all together and it heals the mind, body, and spirit.

    Children's Allergies and Asthma

Last time I mentioned to you a couple of studies showing some of the causes of allergies and asthma. Pollution and environmental toxins were noted to be a substantial cause of these health problems. We discussed using safer, non-toxic cleaning products as a first step. Here is another reason to switch to a safer cleaning system.

A 2008 Harris Poll of 1000 moms show as follows:

    • 94% of surveyed moms would discontinue use of their favorite household cleaning products if they learned that they might be harmful to their families’ health. However, 35% believe that their children have developed skin rashes from the chemicals in cleaning agents used at home.

    • 81% of moms believe that their household cleaning products can trigger asthma in children and adults "Moms already know household cleaners can be hazardous if swallowed or spilled directly on your skin, but most don't make the connection that when these products are used as directed on floors, sinks and tubs, their families are exposed 24 hours a day." - Jane Houlihan, VP for Research at Environmental Working Group in Washington, D.C.

    • 38% of moms even agree that the air inside their homes is more toxic than the air outside A person who spends 15 minutes cleaning scale off shower walls could inhale 3 times the “acute one-hour exposure limit” for glycol ether- containing products set by the California Office of Environmental Health Hazard Assessment.

So another big step you can take to make breathing easier is maintaining clean air in your home. This would mean keeping the air filters in your home HVAC system changed or cleaned frequently. But beyond that, let me suggest placing one of the very best air purifiers available today in your home.

    Why Use an Air Purifier?

Every day the average adult breathes in up to 900 cubic feet of air. And the Environmental Protection Agency states that “since most people spend a majority of their lives indoors, the quality of indoor air is a major area of concern….” In fact, the large surface area of the lungs and the sensitivity of the tissues make them particularly susceptible to air pollution. Pollen, dander, smoke, and mold enter our bodies through our large and vulnerable lungs.

This unit is attractive as well as very effective. It helps reduce all three of the major forms of air pollution: particles such as pollen, pet dander, dust, and cigarette smoke; microbes such as mold and bacteria; and gases and odors.

Many people are reporting better sleep because of reduced congestion when this unit is at work in their home. They report their symptoms are less severe and less frequent with this unit.

    We Need Pure Air!

    Especially in our homes!

During winter you probably spend more time indoors than at any other time of year but the Environmental Protection Agency consistently ranks indoor air pollution among the top five environmental risks to public health.

What does this mean to you? Every day the average adult breathes in up to 900 cubic feet of air. The quality of the air you breathe is important to you because the large surface area of your lungs and the sensitivity of the tissues make them particularly susceptible to air pollution, pollen, dander, smoke, and mold that enter your body through your large and vulnerable lungs.

And children are even more susceptible to this pollution because they are so active they are breathing harder than the average adult.

So what can you do about it in your home? [Read More!]

    Sleep and Health After 50

Getting a good sound sleep each night is important to your continued health and vitality. When you are tired you are more subject to accidents and errors that cause stress and further impair your ability to sleep. Unresolved stress is one of the main causes of lack of sleep. There are many things you can do to help relieve stress.

Your body requires good nutrition to be able to handle stress. One of the best ways to relieve stress is to "walk it off". A good long walk relaxes your muscles and can clear your mind. Just be sure to do it early enough that the extra energy it provides doesn't keep you awake.

I always enjoy and learn from reading testimonials. Of course I have many of my own with most of the products of this # 1 brand. I just delivered two air purifier units in the past week, and will be anxious to ask the owners for their testimonies to share. Below is one from a happy owner.

Just like you tell a friend about a new place you had lunch or dinner, or maybe about a movie you saw recently, it is helpful to tell them something that is working for you in regard to your health. I mentioned this on my My Talk Shoe Broadcast introduction, about how natural it is when you get results, you want to share those good effects with someone who can benefit.

Here are three great testimonies on a Quality Air Purifier that is distributed by the #1 Health & Wellness Company. Thanks to these folks who share their testimonies.

I just bought a 104 year old house that hasn't been well maintained in many years.  Since moving in, my allergies have been acting up and I have noticed mold in my basement as well as a tremendous amount of dust.  I tried out the ASource* for three days and immediately noticed that I could breathe better and my eyes stopped watering and my nose stopped running.  My kitchen started smelling "mildewy" the other day and I have since installed the ASource* in the kitcehn with wonderful results.  I intend to place the ASource* in every room for a good thorough "air cleaning".  Thank you so much for introducing me to a product that really works!  Sincerely,  April Corl, Licensed Muscular Therapist
