All Deskview members now have access to a FREE advertising sponsered version of QHelper. QHelper is a Live Assistance button that you can place on a website, blog, forum or email. It is not limited to a single site but can be placed on domains you may have access too.
QHelper Limited is a FREE feature of your DeskView. It is normally supported by advertisement revenue to help offset the costs.

Watch the Live & On Demand listing (the globe at the top of Deskview) for upcoming classes. Normally I have a class on Wednesday evening and Friday morning.
Can't make it to your Mar 16 class but would like to, if you'll have it at a latter date/time.

I have added a Typing Status Indicator to QHelper due to popular request. Now you can tell if the other person is typing and no longer have to wonder if they fell asleep at the keyboard.
Well of course it's not perfect but will give you an idea if any typing activity is taking place on the other side.

A new feature was added today in QHelper. If you own a 3 seat or more TTCGlobaltalk or Veretekk room you now have easy access to pull your customers into your room to start the relationship building process.
When a customer hits your site, they most time find the information they are looking for and if they don't they assume your product/service doesn't meet their needs.

I have added a 200x30 Intelligent Button Code selection to the QHelper Button
Code section. I found it necessary to have the option of a "thinner"
button for certain things so I figured you would as well.
Things on the available later this week:
ADDITIONS:
- Typing indicator (so you can see when the other person is typing)
- Allow operator to obtain a copy of the chat transcript
CHANGES:
- Improve detection on when "customer" leaves a session prematurely
Thanks!
Neal

After a diligent night's work and a pot of coffee, I finally feel like I can be seen out in public again (no it's not me in the photograph) - lol.
Confessions are hard to make for us all at times, but once we correct our mistakes we can lift our head high once again.

O'boy, QHelper is all so wonderful! You are so open to hearing members needs and desires. I have tried several types of live support companies and chat button systems. QHelper is the best for several reasons, because you are not only product-oriented, but you give very high priority to customer satisfaction.
Qhelper and the entire Q system are bringing me lots of enjoyment with being involved with on-line business. I will definitely stay tuned and embrace new features and changes, especially with your open mind to make changes according to statistical feedback.
Thank you so much!
Ok.. well.. back to the drawing boards for my pages...
Sorry.. really not complaining, just have to rethink things as you have.
Thanks

QHelper: Customizing the Look
With the influx of new QHelper users, often we lose track of where to go and what to do when you first start up QHelper usage.
Yes, although it will work "right out of the box", I would suggest you might want to make one change that will "brand" your copy of QHelper to you and your business in your visitor's mind.
With QHelper you have the ability to control what shows up in the RIGHT side of the customer interface. Below are a couple of examples of what other QHelper users have done. I have included both images as well as a link to their QHelper. Keep in mind that if you click on their QHelper button and they are OFFLINE you'll be redirected to the "Leave a message" page. (images are reduced in size)

Sometimes in our technological age we take for granted all the background processing that goes on in modern day convinces. Take for example the QHelper Button. From all outward appearances it's just a mild mannered "Clark Kent" which looks like any other URL you might see on the internet. But that's where the similarity ends.

Currently under development and "pre-Alpha" testing is the long awaited QHelper Live Assistance! application.
Unlike many current Live Help applications which are limited to operating only on a single domain, QHelper overcomes this limitation. You can place the button code in almost any environment that will allow HTML code, no matter what the domain name.
Many Live Help applications are limited to the button status only changing if the page is refreshed. QHelper has overcome this as well. The intelligent button monitors your online status every 60 seconds and changes the state of the QHelper button accordingly.
