April 16, 2007 -- The success of Podcamp Atlanta and Podcamp NYC proves
that Podcasting is an incredibly effective tool for entrepreneurs and
people passionate about what they promote. People fly from all over the
world to visit the Portable Media and Podcast Expo every fall to see
the newest in technology and meet with other podcasters in person. Once
toted as a fad, Podcasting has become a respected tool for broadcast
companies, media outlets, blue chip companies and entrepreneurs.
Every spring, the Online International Podcasting Expo opens its
virtual doors and offers over 35 audio/visual sessions by respected
Podcasters from around the world. Sponsored by Pamela Systems, the creator of the Skype digital assistant named "Pamela", Revolution Wealth TV, and 1st Podcast Publishing,
this Podcasting Expo makes it extremely easy and affordable for anyone
in the world with an internet connection to participate in classes and
networking sessions. In addition, all 35+ hours of sessions are
recorded and sent to attendees on data DVD after the Expo, with access
to a downloadable library available right after the Podcast Expo.
Visitors can participate in three (3) free audio/visual Podcast
Instruction Sessions April 20-21, 2007. These classes include
"Step-By-Step Podcasting", by Podblog.dk's Karin Hoegh, "Promoting Your
Podcast", by author Jason Van Orden, and "Legally Using Music on
Podcasts", by George Smyth of the Association of Music Podcasting.
These free sessions at the Online International Podcasting Expo are
only a few of the 35+ sessions offering everything you need to know
about Podcasting for your business or for pleasure.
Additional classes include introductions to recording, editing and
mixing audio using free programs such as Audacity, Wavepad and Mixpad,
as well as an introduction to Video production using Techsmith's
Camtasia. Other classes provide strategies for podcasting for profit,
as well as for increased search engine ranking. Learn about new
Podcasting technologies and services, such as TalkShoe and
CrowdAbout.us, and also how podcasts can be delivered to listeners via
Mobile Phones.
Attendees will receive free recording, editing and mixing software,
a lifetime license of Pamela Pro for Skype, a free multi-media
Podcasting Handbook, the opportunity to win $5000 worth of prizes from
Revolution Wealth TV, as well as many other door prizes and freebies.
Groups of 10 or more receive discounted tickets, so professional
organizations for Virtual Assistants, Web Designers and Online
Marketers can benefit from learning podcasting as an additional service
that they can provide for their clients.

Penny Haynes of 1st Podcast Publishing interviews Sallie Goetsch of Author-izer, who will lead a session at the Online International Podcasting Expo entitled "What Do I Talk About? Finding & Developing Content, Show After Show."
As co-founder of the Podcast Asylum, Author-izer Sallie Goetsch (rhymes with
"sketch") writes and speaks about podcasting from the listener's perspective. She started "smoking the podcast dope" in April 2005 and immediately contracted a bad case of earbud isolationism, using podcasting to make connections and attract prospects from around the world without recording her own podcast. She works tirelessly to cure the epidemic of podcastus ignoramus through public presentations and private consultations.
A natural-born pedant, Sallie Goetsch translated Greek and Roman drama for the stage and taught in the School of Theatre Studies at the University of Warwick in England before returning to the United States to start her own business turning busy professionals into authors.
Join us at the Online International Podcasting Expo, April 20-21, 2007. You can get your ticket here, and get your free copy of Pamela Pro ($25 value) plus many more great gifts.

million people own iPods and MP3 Players. Almost 1 billion cell phones
will be sold in the US alone in 2006. 75% of all media player owners
are projected to download at least one podcast.

This weekend (October 20-22, 2006), entrepreneurs will gather together
at the Online International Podcasting Expo to learn why major
companies like Nokia

an online audio/visual seminar open to the public about Nokia's newest
podcast compatible phone, and their proprietary podcasting tools and
services. Michael Sharp of Phonecasting.com will also explain the
inevitable growth of podcasting into the cellular phone arena.
Carter Harkins of innerTOOB
has developed an online tool that allows podcasters and listeners to
imbed audio, visual and text comments at different time codes within a
podcast. innerTOOB's players also lets podcasters include "chapters"
and titles within a podcast. Dave Nelsen's TalkShoe is a unique
combination of teleconference lines combined with online conferencing
abilities. TalkShoe also offers podcasters an opportunity to be paid
for their podcasts by allowing advertising to be attached to their
shows. Both of these podcasting tools are free.
The Online International Podcasting Expo will also include training
sessions on free recording, editing and mixing software for both PC and
Mac users. Penny Haynes of 1st Podcast Publishing,
and Organizer of the Expo, will teach Beginning Wavepad Recording and
Editing. Doug Snodgrass of the WilFlipson Show will teach Advanced
Wavepad Editing. Jerry Franklin will teach Advanced Audacity
techniques. Free downloads of WavePad, MixPad and Audacity will be
provided during the seminars.

reading list, will teach Podcasters how they can increasing their
search engine rankings by adding blogging to their podcast.
FeedBurner's Eric Olson and PodPress' Dan Kuykendall will teach you how
to take your WordPress blog and turn it into a Podcast feed. George
Smyth, the President of the Association of Music Podcasting, will show
you where to find legal music for your podcast, and Dave Jackson of the
School of Podcasting will teach you about the different audio formats
you can use.
These are just a sample of the 40+ online seminars and networking
events being presented this weekend. All ticket holders will receive
free recording and editing software, training, and downloads of all of
the recorded events. |

Despite
over 14,000 podcasts at the PodcastingNews Directory, Apple's 4th
quarter iPod shipments topping 14 million, and the term 'podcast' being
declared Word of the Year for 2005 by the New Oxford American
Dictionary, podcasting remains a relatively unknown concept. Utilizing
an online Virtual Expo Center, the International Podcasting Expo will
make Podcasting information, resources and services available to anyone
with an internet connection.
(PRWEB) March
21, 2006 -- Podcasting is exploding. Apple shipped more than 14 million
iPods in its 2005 4th Quarter, according to Robert McMillan, IDG News
Service. Forecasters predict up to 60 million people will be
downloading podcasts by the year 2010.

What does this mean for podcasters? It means that their targeted
listening market is increasing every day. People with iPods, as well as
MP3 players, PDAs and Cell Phones with digital audio players, are
looking for quality content in their areas of interest.
Although the Podcasting Community includes such large organizations as
IBM, Oracle, Purina, Philadelphia Eagles, Purdue, Notre Dame, CBS,
Nintendo, and the NYPD, a majority of the world still has not heard the
word "podcast", nor does it understand podcasting's usefulness for
education and business, as well as entertainment.
The International Podcasting Expo,
April 21 - 23, 2006, hopes to change that. This online Podcasting Expo
will be a 48 hour, around-the-clock event, taking place within an
online Virtual Expo Center. Therefore, anyone in the world with an
Internet connection can attend.
Events will include a 48 hour live Podcast Marathon in a 500 person
cross-platform audio conference room, with Internet presentation and
recording capabilities. Podcast listeners can attend (and even
participate in) live podcasts with their favorite podcast
personalities. The recorded podcasts will be immediately posted on a
special Expo Podcast feed.
Expo Attendees can participate in seminars and conferences, which will
be held in another cross-platform audio conference room. All seminars
will be recorded and posted in the Seminar Library, so late-comers can
still review the sessions they missed.
Expo organizer, Penny Haynes, of 1st Podcast Publishing, wants this to
be a grass roots expo that allows any podcaster from any country to
participate. "The Expo is presently looking for international
podcasting hosts to lead seminars and conferences in their own
languages, so they can reach their own market during their own time
zone. These chosen International Hosts will receive a free Exhibitor
booth for their assistance in expanding the reach of podcasting around
the world."
The first Exhibitors to come on board include Kelly McCausey of Work At
Home Moms Talk Radio, Tammy Munson of Republican Women Talk Radio,
Shane Matsumoto of Paradigm Lost Productions, and Lisa Boyd of Zeteo
Solutions. The International Podcasting Expo is truly "By Podcasters
and For Podcasters."
