After someone alerted me that they are alledgedly
under federal investigation for identity theft and fraud I decided to do my own due dilligence. Doing a simple Google search for "Typeinternational Scam" produced some quite interesting results. How about this one from the
Better Business Bureau?

Here is the recent survey results from
10khits4unow based on 227 Respondents. Specific comment will be in the next section:
1. Would you want a traffic exchange to decide what you can or cannot
promote if that particular traffic exchange deems it to be questionable as
in the case of the investment autosurfs?
Yes = 68% No = 32%
2. Would you rather take your chances and do your own due diligence?
Yes = 43% No = 57%
3. If you were a team leader or sponsor of someone in your downline...and you
knew they were promoting something very risky would you rather the traffic
exchange tell them, you tell them, or no one tell them?
You = 53% Program = 42% Noone = 5%
(Those who responded both had a tally added to
each column.)
4. Would you be positive or negative toward an exchange that allowed any member
to promote a program as they deemed fit even if it meant them losing all their
money or making quick cash?
Positive = 34% Negative = 66%
5. Do you feel it's the reponsibility of the TE owners to tell you what they
deem to be questionable and let you make the choice, or do you feel we should
ban those sites all together?
You make Choice = 31% Ban Alltogether = 69%
And most important:
6. If a TE took a stance against sites that were considered questionable and
banned such sites, with the chance of a possible loss of membership and
activity, would you support the TE in their effort to do so, or would you
rather 'take your chances' and have your site seen by everyone...no matter what
you/they were promoting?
Support = 84% Not Support = 16%

BBB issues alert on StormPay
Middle Tennessee chapter reports surge of complaints
The Leaf-Chronicle
The
Better Business Bureau of Middle Tennessee today issued an alert regarding StormPay.com, an online payment processing business, in response to over 180 complaints filed since the end of January.
“A review of complaints filed by users indicate that the company is holding in excess of $460,000,” explains BBB chapter President/CEO, Kathleen Calligan.
The
BBB said it has requested the assistance of federal authorities.
Steve Girsky, StormPay owner, and John McConnell, president of the Clarksville-based business, are diverting the blame for the situation to a Web merchant with whom they’ve been associated, called “12dailypro,” which they say is being investigated by law enforcement.
For more on the story, see tomorrow's edition of
The Leaf-Chronicle.
