This is Lori Arriaga
of Christian Women's
Resources with this weeks edition of Words for the Week, Christian Podcast where we bring
you hope and encourgement brought to you by Encouraging Audiobooks.
First and foremost I wanted to appologize for the podcasts not working the past couple of weeks. It has been fixed and hopefully we won't be having any problems from here on out but you know how techonolgy goes sometimes.
First I want to give you a little background to what I want to encourage you with today. I had met this wonderful lady by the name of Randee Krumwiede who is the founder of The Pink Collar Club some time last year. I had taken her Path to Purpose ecourse which is a 14 day journey. If you are interested in checking out this free ecourse, I highly recommend it, you can find it at her website at pinkcollarclub.org.
But today I wanted to talk about one particular day in the ecourse that stuck in my mind where she asked us to ponder the possibilites in our lives by starting with a "What if...? question and to fill in the blank for our lives.
Since I was pondering the What If...? for my life I also thought it would be great to start a What if...? blog. I talked to Randee about doing it together and to get others involved and some good discussions going. We decided to start the blog along with 3 other women calling it "The What If...? Women".
The What if women is a blog that ponders the possibilities where we begin each day with a simple question: What if...? It may be a fun and light hearted post or a serious post, you never know what you are going to get as we all bring our different personalities to the blog.
We started the blog not even a week ago but already have some great posts and comments from others on the topics:
What If...We Embraced Uncertainty?
What If . . . We Didn't Complain?
What if ... I ran away from home?
Be sure to come on over and join in the discussions at thewhatifwomen.blogspot.com, we'd love to have you ponder the possibilities with us.
Be sure to join Friday morning's Virtuous Women's Gatherings
in Penny Haynes audio conference room. at 9:00 CST / 10:00 EST
Until next week, this is Lori Arriaga

What Really Matters
Don't let your worries get the best of you. Remember, Moses
started out as a basket case.
Many folks want to serve God, but only as advisors.
When you get your wit's end, you'll find God lives
there
People are funny: They want the front of the bus, the middle of the
road, and the back of the Church.
Opportunity may knock once, but temptation bangs on the front door
forever
Quit griping about your congregation, if it was perfect, you
couldn't belong
God himself does not propose to judge a man until he is dead.
So why should you??
Some minds are like concrete, thoroughly mixed up, and permanently
set.
Peace starts with a smile
We were called to be witnesses, not lawyers or
judges.
Be ye fishers of men. You catch them-He'll clean
them.
Don't put a ? where God puts a period.
Don't wait for 6 strong men to take you to the
meeting.
Forbidden fruits create many jams
God doesn't call the qualified, He qualifies the
called
God loves everyone, but probably prefers "fruits of the spirit"
over "religious nuts"
God promises a safe landing, not a calm passage.
He who angers you controls you!!!
If God is your Co-pilot-swap seats
Prayer-Don't give God instructions-just report for
duty!!
The task ahead of us is never as Great as the Power behind
us.
We don't change the message, the message changes us.
You can tell how big a person is by what it takes to discourage
him.
Join us at the
Women's Podcasting Expo, July 14-16, 2006, an online event, open to everyone in the world!

Steve Webb, the Podcaster for Lifespring, is absolutely fantastic. He is the host of Lifespring!, the first Christian podcast not based on church sermons. A husband and father of three sons, Steve felt called by God to do this podcast in October of 2004.
I met Steve when he listed his podcast on
FamilyFriendlyPodcasts.com, our "professional and safe" podcast directory. He has been generous enough to share a show with us, so enjoy!
Lifespring! is where you can hear about the One who loves you unconditionally and who gave His life for you...Jesus Christ. Music, conversation, and reasons to believe. Presented in a conversational manner, there will be very few sermons here...excerpts at most.
