For those of you that missed Ian Hetzel's recent comment on why he felt that Wild Dogs Are Not a Good Role Model for the Domestic Dog's Diet , here is his comment and my response:

Reader's Questions and Answers

Greetings Friends! I have receieved a few questions lately that I think would be good to post for everyone to read and comment on if they like. I will try to make the Reader's Q&A a regular feature here from now on. Let me know what you all think.

Question:

I have been giving my GSD about 1/4 c of raw food twice a day along with Innova dry. The raw consists of fresh buffalo, shredded fruit and veggies. I also usually give her a digestive enzyme supplement along with Vit B12, folic acid, Ester C and Vit. E. I wait for at least two hours before I exercise her. Even after 5 ot 6 hours after eating she vomits after running or exercising a lot. She chases are 2 year old malinois. She is a 6 or 7 year old Shepherd. Can you think of why she might be vomiting? There is still a lot of food in her stomach when she does vomit. thanks
