Phillip, they are doing this because they don't have a platform to stand on and they are grasping at anything they hope will stick. It's sad and it's what is going to cause the 2 party system to crumble. The people will demand a different way. I see it coming - in by popular vote only. I see Arnold running against Hillary - I think he'll terminate her however, he isn't as right as we'd like to think. We all know who he's married to and ole Chapiquidick Teddy is waiting and praying in the wings. If it wasn't for the horrendous damage it does to the common people like you and me, it would be laughable. The filthy rich playing russian roulette with the masses getting power for themselves. What a joke it has become. Things are changing...

I heard a comment on Glenn Beck's radio program ... something to the effect of:

If Bush gets elected, the Dems will 'find' (or invent) things and push impeachment because these things are so terrible.

Gee, I thought the way to win an election is to tell WHY my person is better than yours. To showcase WHERE one stands, how this stance is better (maybe) than the other one.

Isn't that what they teach in marketing too? Build a BETTER mousetrap, and the world will beat a path to your doorstep.

IMO, why should we compare today's 'war' to one of 30 years ago? Seems ridiculous to me :) Why must we revisit the past?

You are right. Big things are coming. Some not so good and some horrible. Many will not vote. Many will vote for a person that can't win thus wasting their vote (but they feel better - like they slapped Bush and Kerry). Those who hate Bush will vote Kerry although I believe that when they get in that booth, if they really care about our country getting bombed, they will vote for Bush.

Those who are old enough and have common sense will vote for Bush. Not because he's 100% right but because they know he doesn't waffle, back down or talk crap. Republicans have ALWAYS been the better warrior. Dems stand on a platform of peace, love and flowers in your hair. How can they then, promote killing the enemy? The far left has taken over the Dem party. It is evil. We know who they are.

There is evil on the right too but not so prevalent. I have written much on this subject. The reason the battle for power is so hateful and evil is Agenda 21 - the New World Order. Kerry and his commy friends and especially his wife, are ready to give the US over to the UN and making us just another country. Bush IS NOT! The people for the most part are like dumb driven cattle - they follow their leader right over the hill. Those under 40 don't have a clue what's going on. Colleges are full of communists.

The justice system, ACLU and activist judges are ruining this country. There will be another strike and soon. The communists and the terrorists want Kerry to win. Personally I have been praying Bush doesn't get assassinated. They would do that to gain power. If Kerry gets in, our military goes to the UN. Clinton wants Kofi Annon's job and Hillary wants Bush's job. She isn't too anxious for Kerry to win.

So, you have good reason to be restless. Indeed big changes are coming. No matter who wins this election - we will be attacked again and the natural disasters in America and the world will increase like never before. We need to get our houses in order and get right with our Lord...

Ok ... fair enough :)

We have a gentleman that goes to our church that has a tendency to speak his mind.

Although I consider him to be conservative, he doesn't like Bush OR Kerry ... there's an independant running (NOT Nader) that he seems to support.

He mentioned the fact that Kerry harped upon ... that 1,000 of our service people have died since our war on Iraq.

Let's see ... in less than two hours on 9-11, 3,000 (+/-) of our fellow Americans lost their lives ....

The length of time in war ... we've lost 1,000 ....

We decided to take the war to them, instead of 'waiting for permission' from the UN or other 'authority'.

IF Kerry gets elected, I honestly fear that they will see Kerry as 'weak and indecisive' ... he wants us to gain permission from the UN before defending America.

I shudder to think where we would be
now .... IF Kerry were President during 9-11 .. as many times as he changes sides of an issue, how else could it be looked upon, but as 'confused' or 'unsure'?

I've been VERY restless lately ...

admittedly, a lot of less than positive things has gone on in my personal life.
it's a bit like the zoo animals that got moved ... knowing that 'something' is happening. The animals 'sense' the change of barometric pressure and other things.

I'm of the opinion that humans ALSO have these senses, though we may not know exactly WHY we sense something is wrong.
