For those of you who know how I feel about Ceasar Millan, it should be no surprise to you that I am blogrolling Steve's article for you today.

Oprah isn’t wrong often – but she barked up the wrong tree by choosing Cesar Millan, the self-proclaimed Dog Whisperer, to speak up for canines on her TV show.

Once again, a new school year has begun. Consequently, some parents are dealing with separation anxiety issues with their children. And, with busier school and activity schedules, it’s also the time when we dog parents may begin to notice separation anxiety symptoms in their companion animals, too.

The most common definition of separation anxiety is that when left alone, your pet exhibits destructive behaviors. There are differences of opinion among pet professionals regarding the diagnosis and treatment of this complex behavioral issue, but all are trying to achieve the same result – the reduction and/or elimination of these destructive and harmful behaviors. Today Friends I am publishing Nicole Johnson's article on Potty Pen Training. The is a wonderful idea and Nicole was getting so many emails aksing her how she trains dogs to potty in a pen that she wanted to share it here with you all.

I came up with the potty pen idea after I started fostering dogs for a shelter. I was spending so much time cleaning up after them that I seemed to have no time for anything else.
