Every parent wants to have healthy children. We count their fingers and toes when they're first born, and thank the powers that be when they are all accounted for.But keeping our kids healthy has become a great challenge in today's world.
Providing our kids with the best nutrition is not as easy as it once was. Fifty years ago, the whole foods produced from the earth were sufficient for proper nutrition. Today that is no longer the case. Just look at the bread and cereal packaging and you'll see how they've been fortified with vitamins, not in an attempt at making them super foods, but to make them as good as they used to be. Even juice manufacturers are fortifying their products with vitamins to compensate for what nature no longer supplies naturally.

It is amazing that in this day and age, with all of the news coverage regarding violent crime and assaults against women, that many people still feel that it can't happen to them. Bad things always happen to someone else... The irony of it is that those who think that way, are the victims of assault, and that many of these assault victims, if they had been of a different mind set, may have been able to stave off their attacker. Am I saying that they are responsible for the attack? Not at all.
