In Shaklee "connection" is the key
Just off the phone with one of my favorite Shaklee friends. We discussed the "secrets" of building an online Shaklee business.
We talked about why buying leads is a waste of time and money.
We talked about why some people find it so easy to attract folks to them -- and some just seem to struggle to develop relationships.
We discussed the fact that when we have people in our online web conference rooms, skype group chat, or social media connections, our volume tends to spike upward -- and when we send people directly to our Shaklee product website.. volume tends to drop a bit. We concluded that ultimately -- whether you're developing a lifetime customer or working with a potential business builder -- the "connection" is the key.
People buy from -- and do business with -- people they know, like and trust.
This has never been more true than it is today.
So if there is a secret... and there are many... this is it. Spend time with your customers and prospects building rapport -- developing the relationship. Work at being real and authentic -- never phony -- and never pushy. Understand that it's not about you... it's really all about them. Stay in touch, offer to help them reach their goals -- regardless of how large or small they are.
Pick up the phone and call them from time to time. Not to ask for another order -- but just to say hello and ask if you can help them in any way. The last thing people want in their busy, over marketed, skeptical and complicated lives is another pushy sales person trying to make a quota.
They LOVE genuine people who are there for them. People who can help them with real solutions to real problems without dollar signs in their eyes.
Want to grow your volume and your downline? Answer these two questions...
- What can I do to build rapport and make a better "connection" with my customers and builders?
- How soon can I get started?
I can't guarantee that driving traffic to a web site will work to build your business. But I can guarantee that building relationships -- making the "connection" will add to your bottom line.
