 Our Home Goes Green

How we turned our home from a toxic non environmental home through the use of non toxic cleaning supplies. Back in the early 70's I was a Shaklee Independent Distributor but over many years and life changes I feel "off the wagon" so to speak. My concerns turned more to making a living and convenience of purchasing just whatever was handy. My Home Business as a Shaklee Independent Distributor went by the way side and a lot of toxins slowly crept into our home over the years.  Earth Friendly Products were buzz words and highly regarded back in late 60'2 and 70's .... so what happened and why now? My name is Tana Hamiter and I am a Goes Green woman.

The Landmark Study that was published last fall created a lot of excitement and produced such great results for Shaklee Independent Distributor products.

The brochure that was released to detail the findings is nothing short of impressive for this brand.  While it is technical in format, it is easy to spot the difference in results.  What was most shocking for me to see was the blood results of the participants who took other brands look worse than taking no multi-vitamin at all.  To me, that is scary.

This is a question that arises quite a bit when showing new distributors our business opportunity.

Probably the simplest answer is. If you market the products like we do you and have an established customer base your bonus check will be close to half of what you Personal Volume (PV) is for the month. Now of course it's not quite that high when you first start out and once you have a very high monthly volume you can get up to 60% payout. What I have found as a general rule that is pretty close give or take some.

For instance if you (PV) in a month were 5000 then your bonus check would run close to 2500. Now that isn't including overides you get from people you have helped established businesses. (Also known as directors). When you start establishing directors and they established large stable organizations that's where the gangster money comes in.

The popular talk show theme, advertising theme, news item this month has been Weight Loss (Click on Get the Ci*** Starter Kit); One company that is advertising asks the question, why do you think there are so many diet programs, and answers their own question by saying that it is because diets don't work.

That may be true.  Plus I do believe it is a lifestyle and mindset issue just as much as what we actually put into our mouths.  All three have to somewhat combine for successful weight loss AND weight management.  Unfortunately many folks fall short here.

We are hearing more about healthy weight loss, after so many diets gone bad that have hurt people.  Also it is important to connect health with weight loss because weight loss improves health and can even SAVE HEALTH.  We don't 'only' lose weight to look good.  It is very important for our overall health.      more...

Reminder.. right before my closing in each of my posts on this channel, I am going to write a paragraph about this company's history.  Many of us who did learn these things (way back when) forget over time so I thought it would be nice to share..

Today we are going to discuss Carotenoids, which are compounds found in most yellow, orange or dark green vegetables.  Beta carotene is a carotenoid that is a precursor for Vitamin A.  It is converted by the body to Vitamin A as it is needed, but does not have the toxic effects as when too much Vitamin A is consumed.
