Over the last week we had a turn of events happening that makes me so proud as a Mom to watch. Just one year ago on this blog I wrote about our son Adam graduation from college and how this may not have been possible if it wasn't for the Shaklee Distributor business we built together. This picture was taken of Adam last August at the Nashville Convention. Notice the "Star Achiver" wrist band. Believe me he would never have walked on stage to recieve that award! As a Shaklee Distributor they honor you wether you want to walk across stage or not...
It all started when one of Adam's friends asked if he wanted to purchase his truck. Where we live the Thanksgiving holiday is a time for all the " kids" to come home and spend time with their friends they grew up with. This same night 2 other people came up to Adam and asked about his Shaklee Distributor business. The next day I could tell Adam was in deep thought about what he was asked the night before. By that evening he was driving through the car dealership looking at new trucks. Over the next several days the whole family was involved with helping Adam shop for the best deal on a different truck.
Last night Adam pulls in the lane with his New 2008 Chevrolet 4 wheel drive Z71 extended cab truck. He was beaming from ear to ear and walking with an extra bounce. This is his dream truck he just purchased, it has all the bells and whistle's on it. One of the first things he said as he walked in the door was, "this wouldn't have been possible if it wasn't for my Shaklee Distributor business."
One of the reason's I think he stressed so over this decision, he had a concern what others would think when he pulled into work with this new truck. No other employees where he works are driving "New Trucks." What sets Adam apart from all of those other employees is his Shaklee Distributor Business.
Adam is very different than many people you meet in MLM businesses. He is very shy until he gets to know you. Many of his friends only know about his Shaklee distributor business because they asked him about it. His business has been built strictly through online marketing. Adam has the extra income as a Shaklee Distributor to afford to live and get the extra's. Over the last year he has seen a steady increase in his income from his business.
Our company has an 80% re-order rate, that's almost un-heard of with most companies. As a Shaklee Director with a customer base you can earn and extra $1000 per month or $100,000 per year. It's all up to you. First you have to see the vision of your own business and decide how bad you want it. It's the "why" that will drive you to success.
I have seen the vision grow much stronger over the last week for Adam. (That happens when people come to you and ask about your business.) Adam has that vision and is reaping the benefits. Green Cleaners Make Oprah's "Favorites List"
I just finished watching the Oprah Show. All I can say is WOW wouldn't it have been great to be part of that audience are receive all of those "favorites" as gifts. As I look back over all the favorites I know that our "Green Cleaners" probably offer the best gift of all. No it wasn't the most expensive gift by far. The refrigator by LG (Living Good) was. Funny I have an LG brand cell phone and never knew what the acronum was till today.
The "Green Cleaners" in the Healthy Home basket might not have looked as appealing. I know if everyone who receives a basket will take those toxic chemicals they are currently using, get rid of them and start using the green cleaners they will see their health improve. Just think about it. If you had a choice between a new fancy refrigator or not developing respiratory illness that may cost you thousands of dollars over the next several years. I don't think there is anyone would would choose the fancy frig.
The gift of health is a powerful gift.
Unfortunatly once we are sick and in treatment we generally don't get that second chance to look back and make different choices in our life. It's really too bad more parents aren't informed about these toxic cleaners. Oprah has done her part in promoting safe healthy green cleaners. Today was the 3rd time this year that she talked about our green cleaners.
Just yesterday I got word about another great article published in Time Style and Design Magazine. Every year the Time Style and Design magazine is eagerly waited for my millions of readers. When I read this article it make total sense why a powerhouse like Ripplewood holdings would decide to keep Shak*ee a private direct selling company. Our distributor base is huge and VERY educated who better to spread the word to all corners of the world than satisified consumers!

I heard it so many times before... "I don't want to talk to my friends and family" I do understand friends and family can be your worst enemy when it comes to starting a home business. What you need to realize as a Shaklee distributor we have stuff that changes lives. This isn't just some snake oil or something like that. As a Shaklee Distributor we are into "Preventive Diangnostic Health Care." If you knew you had something that could prevent disease my question to you is wouldn't you want to share that with the ones you love?
Our Company has been in business over 50 years and just completed a landmark study by a 3rd party. In fact it was just published in Nutrition Journal, an online, peer-reviewed international human nutrition journal. We went way out on a limb for this study because think about it if it wouldn't have turned out favorable it would have been very bad PR. That is was is called company "FAITH" in our stuff!

For over 25 years now these Shaklee Independent Distributor products have been 'changing my family's lives' in the form of good health, feeling great every day, and making very few trips to the doctor's office to slow us down.
While I helped family and friends get products for many years, I did not officially become a distributor/sales leader until about seven years ago. My family, including four children, was my main focus and I was able to spend most of my time caring for them, volunteering at school and their activites, etc.
Now that they are older I have abundant gratitude to still be very active with them, but also have time to share these awesome products that change other people's lives the same as my family's.
The Gold Opportunity is a chance to take this message far and wide, all over this country and beyond. Let's think about the possibilities..

New Green Cleaners a familiar picture on Oprah
I was amazed yesterday when I watched Oprah to see what DR Oz had to say about our Green Cleaners. They showed a picture of all the products and Oprah talked about not playing " I love Lucy" and use too much diswasher soap. What really amazes me is the company name wasn't even mentioned, but that didn't seem to make a difference the orders for one of our best kept secrets still came rolling in. What can I say Oprah has amazing power!
I love it when people call and are just learning the power of these products. It all comes back to me exactly the same thing I experienced over 11 years ago and get excited all over again. New Green Cleaners the talk on Oprah!
It's amazing the power one show can have over the thought and minds of people. Yes Oprah is an amazing woman. I hear she even had a newscast this morning. Gosh I thought only president's had the power to stop the news media dead it it's tracks and talk.

In honor of the 79th Annual Academy Awards earlier this month, there was a Global Green Oscar Party where most of us common folk were not invited. However this brand CLEANER PRODUCTS were invited. The products were featured in a Green Design Lounge at the Global Green's third annual fundraiser held at the Avalon Hollywood.
There were lots of celebrities in attendance including Kirsten Dunst, Orlando Bloom, Chevy Chase, Jennifer Love Hewitt, and local politicians like L. A. City Councilman Eric Garcetti.
