Would you feel comfortable letting a baby crawl across the "clean" floors in your house?
What if I told you that of the 3 Million plus poisonings each year, more than 9 out of 10 suspected poison exposures occur at home with household products. Household cleaners being the number ONE cause of poisoning of children.
Go to your cupboard right now. Pick a cleaner, any cleaner. Does it contain chlorine, phenol, ammonia, or formaldehyde? These and many more may be toxic. Toxic as in dangerous and harmful, as in not very "clean" at all.
Is Your Home Healthy?
According to the book, The Safe Shoppers Bible, here is a list of common household products that contain the highest levels of chemicals known as carcinogens and/or neurotoxins. Carcinogens are chemicals that cause cancer. Neurotoxins are chemicals that adversely affect the nervous system, reducing emotional well being, mental alertness, coordination and other functions associated with intelligence.

Each garnered some ink in The Green Book, a new publication hailed as "the everyday guide to saving the planet one simple step at a time." The Shakle* web site URL for Green Clean is cited in the laundry soap reference section in the chapter on shopping.
Co-author Elizabeth Rogers (who wrote the book with Thomas M. Kostigen) was featured on the Oprah Earth Day show in April, along with Roger and Sloan Barnett. Ms. Rogers was so impressed with the Barnetts, Shakle* and Green Clean, that she added Shakle* into the book! She also uses Green Clean in her home.
The Green Book arrived in bookstores on June 19 and has received much media coverage, including a segment on The Today Show. Pick up a copy today

This was a great testament to how these products rid your home of all of the harmful toxins and chemicals. This makes your home healthier for your family members who live and breathe the air there. It was suggested to just go around the house and pack them all up. Be careful of disposing them - they really are harmful to the environment. You can call your local sanitation department.
One of the biggest challenges of eating healthy is removing simple carbohydrates and sugars and empty-calorie snacks from our diet . Sweets and snacks, chips and pasta, crackers and pretzels, potatoes and rice, and soda pop and juices… are everywhere…
These foods are high-glycemic . That means they spike your blood sugar ..only to see it plummet an hour or so later thus creating fluctuating blood sugars that lead to cravings and bingeing and no room for healthy choices . Such cravings are not about will power . They are about metabolic imbalance that creates cravings for fast sugar and carbohydrate snacks. The following are ways many people have successfully kicked that sugar habit and enjoyed good healthy food again.

Don't Miss this Shaklee Distributor's Online Training Recording
This is your chance to listen in on a recorded weekly get together of our Shaklee Distributors Online Group. We always have something about our favorite produts to share. In this session we talk about the national convention comming up in August at Nashville, TN. As always I share some marketing strategies on marketing online.
Quality and safety are issues in many areas of life. The trip to Salt Lake City was great! We had safe travel days and the quality of the trip, from the hotel (had to be 5 Star) to the delicious food was top of the line. The weather was beautiful, the food and company great, and so good to kick back and relax and not look (too much) at the clock. I thoroughly enjoyed myself. Plus when you are on such a quality food supplement program, you don't miss a beat with travel days, long vacation days, etc. I even brought along packets of my soy protein which I added to orange juice a couple of the days.. I do love starting the day with soy. It balances the blood sugar for the day so well!
Quality and safety should be most important with your choice of alternative health food supplements. I received another email from the Shaklee Independent Distributor field that always shares such great information. The following article was forwarded and it really does make you think about quality and trust and how your brand stacks up. When you think about a certain vitamin like Vitamin C and you hear that most of the world's supply is made in a certain location, you have to question whether there is much difference from one brand to the next, and you question and safety and quality..
When it comes to our family it is all about trust, trust that the things we use to improve our lives or make them more comfortable will do us good, not harm. As an
Independent Shaklee Dealer, many people have said to me that “toxins in our lives are unavoidable, why try?” My answer is always to do the math. Every one less IS one less, leaving our bodies healthier and stronger to deal with the things we can not avoid. Math will tell you that every product you use, some several times a day, times 365 days a year, increases our exposure to toxins exponentially .... or not based on some very simple choices. Our choices directly increase our health, and our quality of life.

Everyday I get online business people asking me to look at their company. Generally if it is someone I know and respect I'll take the time to look at what they are marketing and give my opnion. There are many types of companies out there some good and some not so good. Probably what gets under my skin the quickest is a brand new company touting to be the best thing since sliced bread. They do this big launch and swarms of distributors sign up want to get in on the next new wave and hopefully make some easy cash.
In fact I know marketers that do just that look for the up rising company jump on the band wagon fast and then when the company folds they move on to the next new deal with out batting an eye. Sometimes I wonder how these people sleep at night. It's people like that that give this industry a bad name.
Just last evening as I scanning my tracking codes I noticed one keyword phrase was creeping up many times. it was... "How much money can you make as a Shakle* Distributor." When I saw it I thought that is a good question. For me the answer is simple. If you market this company the way I do once you are established with some customers generally your check is about half of what your personal volume (PV) is for the month. It might give or take a little but if you average it out it's pretty close.
This means if your Personal Volume is 3000 in a month your bonus check will run pretty close to $1500. I tell you that is a whole lot easier than figuring out percentages on everything and lots easier to explain. My question to you is.. can you say in a simple short to the point way how much someone will make as a distributor for your company?
Tomorrow I leave for a 5-day trip to Salt Lake City, Utah. It will be my first time visiting that area and I am excited to see this new place! We are staying at a great hotel, and the weather looks sunny and warm.. just what I like! I am carrying my Get Green Clean bag, to support all of the LIVING GREEN AND CLEAN exposure that THIS BRAND has been getting lately.
My Shaklee Independent Distributor site will be OPEN FOR BUSINESS while I am gone, and I will have email access if you have any questions, etc. The url to my blog (with more info and audios posted) is right on the first page of my website if you have time to explore that.
One thing my family always does when traveling, especially flying, is to take some Echinacea to boost our immune system for the challenges we may encounter. Being contained in small environment with limited 'fresh' air, keeping very busy, eating differently, and even sleep patterns being thrown off can all throw our bodies off normal. ECHINACEA is a great product for fighting off all of those challenges. We usually start a couple of days before travel and carry it through for at least five to seven days. Read on for some other traveling tips..
